About

I'm a Silicon Valley engineering executive and founder. As Co-Founder & CTO of Silicon Valley Commerce, I built the pricing engines that supported the business from $0 to $125M/yr in revenue, managed a $5M+ engineering budget, and grew the engineering organization from 0 to 25. Earlier, I had an exit with Push Computing (acquired by MobileIron). I hold an M.S. from Stanford and a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon. I coach engineers, founders, and technical leaders on AI/ML engineering and applied ML systems (such as pricing), and on engineering leadership: building and scaling teams, managing budgets, hiring, and moving from IC to engineering manager to CTO.

Jack’s Leadership Coaching Qualifications

Experience level: Manager

I was Co-Founder & CTO of Silicon Valley Commerce, where I grew the engineering organization from 0 to 25, owned a $5M+ engineering budget, and led the pricing engines that supported the company from $0 to $125M/yr in revenue. Earlier I had an exit with Push Computing (acquired by MobileIron). I hold an M.S. from Stanford and a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon. I help engineers, engineering managers, and founders with hiring, team structure, budgeting, technical strategy, and growing into senior engineering leadership roles.

Jack can help with:

AI Strategy

Change Management

Coaching and Mentoring

Problem Solving

Why do I coach?

I've built and scaled engineering teams and ML-driven products from zero, and I want to help other technical founders and leaders skip the mistakes I made. I enjoy turning hard technical and organizational problems into clear, practical plans.
