This six-week package is a beginner-friendly introduction to consulting interviews for undergraduate students (especially non-target candidates starting from zero, just like I did.) We’ll meet live on Zoom for one hour each week, for six hours of personalized coaching total. You’ll also receive feedback on any submitted work within one week. When I began recruiting, I wish someone had simply explained the broad-strokes best practices upfront. Instead, I accumulated them little by little over several months, often using up valuable conversations with professionals and peers to ask questions I could have answered much earlier. This package gives you the candid, no-fluff foundation I wish I had. First, we’ll establish what strong candidates actually do. Then, we’ll test the waters through three complete practice cases and a full-length behavioral interview, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and build a realistic plan for continuing your preparation. My coaching style is down-to-earth, conversational, honest, peer-focused, and ask-me-anything. This is designed primarily for undergraduates who want an approachable introduction to consulting, casing, and behavioral interviews. Week 1: Introduction and Best Practices We’ll cover the broad strokes of consulting recruiting, case interviews, behavioral interviews, and what interviewers actually evaluate. We’ll also discuss the differences among firms — including their cultures, values, interview styles, and overall “vibes” — so you can better understand where you might fit. Week 2: Full-Length Practice Case We’ll run a complete, one-hour case tailored to your experience level, goals, and initial development areas. Week 3: Full-Length Practice Case We’ll build on your first case, targeting the skills and areas where you need the most practice. Week 4: Full-Length Practice Case We’ll complete a third case designed to test your progress and help clarify your remaining strengths and weaknesses. Week 5: Full-Length Behavioral Interview We’ll run a complete behavioral mock interview tailored to your target firm’s style, values, and typical areas of emphasis. Week 6: Wrap-Up Reflection and AMA We’ll conclude with a candid assessment of your strengths and weaknesses, a final ask-me-anything session to address any remaining questions, and a practical plan for moving forward. **Setting Expectations** This package is an introduction and diagnostic, not a complete substitute for the practice required to master interviewing. Many successful candidates complete approximately 20-30 full-length, live practice cases before interviewing, not to mention countless hours of behavioral preparation. These three cases are meant to help you get your feet wet, understand how casing works, and learn more about consulting as an industry in general. You’ll leave with a strong foundation, firsthand interview experience, an honest understanding of your development areas, and a clear plan for what to do next.
