Description
A Master’s degree can support very different goals: professional advancement, career change, deeper specialization, research preparation, or a future doctoral pathway. This package is for prospective Master’s applicants who want to think carefully about whether graduate study is the right next step, which programs fit what they hope to accomplish, and how to approach the application process with greater clarity. You do not need a finalized program list to begin. If you are still exploring, we can use our first session to clarify what matters most to you and develop criteria for identifying programs that fit. Together, we may work on: • Your purpose for pursuing graduate study and what you hope it will make possible • Professional, academic, or research-oriented degree pathways • Your preparation, strengths, experiences, and developmental needs • Overall fit across up to 8 programs you identify • Curriculum, program structure, experiential opportunities, community, geography, and other fit factors • Tuition, scholarships, assistantships, and financial sustainability • Applicant positioning, recommenders, and application priorities The goal is not simply to submit stronger applications. It is to help you choose graduate education where you have a meaningful opportunity to learn, contribute, belong, and move toward the life and work that matter to you. Your package includes • 75-minute Master’s Pathway & Program Fit session • 50-minute Positioning & Application Strategy session • Developmental review of one CV or résumé • Strategic review of up to 8 client-selected programs • Developmental review of one applicant-authored primary statement up to 1,500 words • Personalized written Master’s Decision & Fit Map • One consolidated follow-up

Coaching delivered via live sessions and .
My approach begins with discernment rather than assuming that the most prestigious—or most obvious—program is automatically the right one. You bring your goals, experiences, circumstances, and the programs you are considering. I help you compare options, interpret what you find, surface strengths and tradeoffs, identify unanswered questions, and develop a strategy grounded in what matters most to you. Session 1 | 75 minutes: Clarify your purpose, degree options, preparation, fit criteria, affordability considerations, and direction. If needed, you can use those criteria between sessions to identify or refine the programs you want us to review. Session 2 | 50 minutes: Connect your strategy to your CV/résumé, applicant-authored statement, recommenders, program priorities, and next steps. After the second session, you’ll receive your personalized Master’s Decision & Fit Map. You remain the decision-maker throughout. My role is to help you see the options and tradeoffs more clearly so you can make an informed choice about the education, investment, and environment you are considering.
Complete the package within 60 days. Please submit materials at least 4 business days before the relevant session. The package includes one developmental review of one CV/résumé and one applicant-authored primary statement up to 1,500 words. Additional drafts or substantive work are not included. You are responsible for verifying current admissions requirements, deadlines, tuition and fees, funding terms, program policies, and submission requirements directly with each institution. You remain the author of all submitted materials. This package does not include application writing, exhaustive program research, application submission, or guarantees of admission, scholarships, assistantships, or funding. Additional advising—including further document feedback, interviews, offer comparison, waitlist support, or decision advising—is available at $199/hour.

I help Master’s applicants clarify which degree and program fit their goals, strengthen their applicant-authored materials, and make financially informed decisions about graduate study. My work spans research-oriented and professional programs, including applicants pursuing career advancement, a career change, research preparation, or a future doctoral pathway. We can work on degree and program discernment, application strategy, statements and resumes, recommendations, funding and affordability, interviews, and offer comparison. Sometimes the question is how to strengthen an application. Sometimes it is whether graduate school—or a particular degree, program, cost, and community—is truly the right next step. My aim is to help you make both a strong application and a thoughtful decision about the education and environment you are choosing.
