You do not need a finalized program list to begin. If you are still exploring, we can use our first session to clarify your research direction and the criteria that matter most to you. Together, we may work on: • Why a PhD, why now, and what you hope doctoral study will make possible • Your emerging research direction, preparation, strengths, and developmental needs • Overall fit across up to 8 programs you identify • Deeper consideration of up to 3 priority programs within that list • Faculty, mentoring, intellectual community, funding, and institutional fit • Applicant positioning, recommenders, and faculty outreach when appropriate The goal is not only to strengthen an application. Your package includes • 75-minute PhD Pathway, Research Fit & Funding session • 50-minute Positioning & Application Strategy session • Developmental review of one academic CV • Developmental review of one applicant-authored primary statement up to 1,500 words • Strategic review of up to 8 programs, including deeper consideration of up to 3 priority programs • Personalized written PhD Research & Fit Map • One consolidated follow-up
