About

I help consulting candidates, MBA students, and early-career professionals turn strong experience into clear, credible career stories—especially for resumes, recruiting, and behavioral interviews. I’m currently a Senior Associate at Strategy&. Before Booth, I spent three years at Accenture, progressing from Analyst to Senior Analyst while working across strategy, operating model design, technology adoption, and large-scale transformation. I earned my MBA from Chicago Booth, where I served as an Admissions Fellow interviewing MBA applicants. Earlier in my career, I supported students through USC Marshall Career Services, and over the past five years I’ve coached 60+ people on resumes, interviews, recruiting, and career decisions. My coaching is practical and evidence-based. We work from what you actually did: what you owned, the decisions you made, the impact you created, and what makes the experience relevant to the opportunity you want next. I’m particularly helpful if you’re trying to: • sharpen a consulting or strategy resume • prepare for behavioral and fit interviews • develop stronger leadership and impact stories • position yourself for a career transition • explain a nonlinear or multidisciplinary background • improve your networking and personal positioning I also founded and shipped rmmbrly, a technology startup, giving me firsthand experience navigating recruiting, entrepreneurship, and an unconventional professional story. You’ll leave each session with direct feedback, concrete edits or usable story structures, and specific next steps—not generic career advice. I provide coaching independently based on my own experience and do not represent any employer or university through these services.

George’s Career Coaching Qualifications

Experience level: Analyst

60+ Career Coaching clients

I’m a Chicago Booth MBA, Strategy& Senior Associate, former Accenture consultant, Booth Admissions Fellow, and career coach with 60+ prior clients. Before Booth, I spent three years at Accenture, progressing from Analyst to Senior Analyst. My work included helping design the operating model for a new Los Angeles County department, supporting California’s Digital Vaccine Record used by more than 25 million people, and helping drive enterprise AI adoption through training for more than 1,600 employees. During my MBA, I interned at Strategy& and returned full-time as a Senior Associate. At Booth, I also served as an Admissions Fellow interviewing MBA applicants, an Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition Fellow, and a Golub Capital Board Fellow. Earlier in my career, I supported students through USC Marshall Career Services. Across more than five years of coaching, I’ve worked with 60+ people on resumes, interviews, career decisions, and communicating experiences that were often stronger than the way they initially appeared on paper. My approach combines structured problem-solving with close attention to communication: what you did, the choices you made, the evidence behind your impact, and how to explain it naturally and credibly.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I enjoy the moment when someone realizes their experience is stronger than the way they’ve been describing it. I first saw that while supporting students at USC Marshall Career Services, and I’ve continued to see it through more than five years of coaching, consulting recruiting, and interviewing MBA applicants as a Chicago Booth Admissions Fellow. My style is candid, structured, and practical. We’ll get underneath polished but generic language, identify what you actually owned and why it mattered, and turn that into a story you can explain naturally. The goal isn’t to manufacture a more impressive version of you. It’s to make the strongest evidence already in your experience easier for someone else to see.
