Oxford MSc Student | €150K+ in Scholarships | EU & UK University Expert
A couple of words about me: I am a political analyst of Ukrainian-Russian origin. Throughout my BA, I have studied at five universities in 4 countries, Ukraine, Estonia, Croatia and Germany. During my BA studies, I was awarded five various scholarships, amounting to more than 80,000 EUR. Moreover, I have received full scholarships and funding for more than 10 conferences and schools around Europe. This year, I applied to just two universities for my Master`s. One was SciencesPo Paris, ranked as the 4th best university in the world for studying political science (and 1st best in the EU, QS ranking). I got accepted to one of its most selective programs, International Governance and Diplomacy at the Paris School of International Affairs (the school's acceptance rate is under 20%). I was offered free tuition there. Moreover, I managed to get a successful deferral of my studies for the next year in order to finish my 1-year MSc in the UK and return to Paris afterwards. The second university I applied to was the University of Oxford (1st best university in the world according to Times ranking, 2nd best for politics according to QS). This year, I was offered a place in a 9-month MSc in Russian and East European Studies at the School of Global and Area Studies at the University of Oxford. The acceptance rate for this program was under 20%. At Oxford, I was granted a prestigious EAA Qatar scholarship, a full scholarship of more than 70,000 EUR for my studies. This scholarship is highly competitive, with just three winners, and I am honoured to be one of them. Therefore, this fall I am departing for Oxford for my Master`s. On the professional side, I have 3.5+ years of experience writing for top-notch media, where I have more than 50 articles published. Since 2022, I have been working as a monthly political writer at one of the most prestigious US think-tanks, Center for European Political Analysis. Between 2023 and 2025, I worked as a Senior Editor for Long Form Content at one of the biggest legal online media, JURIST. Moreover, I authored publications for VoxEurop, European Journalism Observatory and other media outlets. Therefore, my writing skills were honed by highly professional editors. I am keen on helping promising students get accepted for their Master`s. I have vast experience studying in various countries and universities since 2020, thus I am acquainted with the specifics of higher education in various regions. Now, at the age of 20, I have a history of securing more than 150,000 USD in funding for my academic path, and experience of studying at top-notch universities around Europe. Moreover, I was granted fully-funded places in highly competitive schools with acceptance rates between 3 and 7%. I aim to become not only an occasional consultant but a genuine mentor who can address the students' concerns. I worked for several years as a political adviser for politicians; therefore, I know how to find a personalised approach to various kinds of people and highlight their strong sides.
