About

Before HBS, I spent four years at a Catholic seminary studying to become a priest. That experience taught me to see people as whole individuals. I practice person-focused mentorship, meeting candidates where they are and understanding their story and their calling. I speak Spanish and can help translate your story into the language American admissions committees look for, surfacing the parts of your background that will connect with them. Attending HBS was a dream come true, but like many moments in my life, I had to overcome expectations to get there. Most importantly, I took the risk of being open about my unconventional path, my challenges, and my dreams. When you put your true self forward, you won't have regrets about your application, and that's what I want to help you do. Above all, I'm a husband and father of two girls, and the lasting impact I hope to have starts with my own family.

Why do I coach?

1. I enjoy listening to people's stories and their journeys, meeting them where they are, and helping them get into a school that can unlock their potential impact on society. 2. Navigating the admissions process is an art and a science. The science is your story, your experience. The art is digging into that story, bringing it out, and telling it in a way that moves the hearts of admissions, carrying you from application to interview, and from interview to admission. I enjoy that part of the process. 3. A few people in my life believed in me when it mattered, and it changed the direction of my life. I want to be that person for others, someone who sees their potential when others only see the risk, and who adds my two cents to help them get there.

I spent four years at a Catholic seminary studying to become a priest, a path that typically takes about twelve years to complete. During that time, I lived a purpose-driven life, received an education in the humanities, and mentored others in their spiritual development. That experience shaped how I approach coaching today. I practice person-focused mentorship, where I care about the individual in front of me, their calling, and helping them reach their potential, because that impact does not stop with them. It carries into the people they go on to lead, mentor, and support.
