Defining Your MBA Personal Narrative [8/10/2026] (Recording)
After this session, you will know how to identify the central thread that ties your experiences into a cohesive MBA narrative and how to frame your story in a way that resonates across essays, interviews, and recommendations. We will cover how to distinguish a narrative that feels lived-in from one that reads as constructed, how to anchor your "why MBA" to something specific rather than generic ambition, and how to pressure-test your story against the judgment calls admissions committees actually make. Attending live means you can bring your own background and get a direct read on whether your narrative framing is landing the way you intend. The coach works with MBA applicants daily and will be drawing on patterns seen across successful candidates, giving you a rare window into how this thinking actually works in practice.

Interview Ready 1: How IB Interviews Actually Work [10/20/2026] (Recording)
A map of the investment banking interview process, from the first screen to the offer call, and what each round is checking. Most processes run in the same order. Resume and relationships get screened first, then technical and behavioral filtering, then a final-round judgment. Not every bank uses every step. Some boutiques skip the HireVue, and some offices go straight from a banker screen to a Superday. The common mistake is preparing for one step. A candidate who only drilled technicals can still lose on story. One who only networked can still lose on basic accounting. Interviews are risk checks as much as knowledge checks, and the decision gets made in a debrief after you leave, where supporters advocate and skeptics push back. What we'll cover: - The full sequence, from resume screen and HireVue through first rounds, the Superday, and the offer - What each round filters for - Why a recorded HireVue is not a casual screen - What an interviewer scores beyond right answers: competence, clarity, and character - How elite boutique processes dig deeper than the bulge brackets - Who sits in the debrief, and what it takes to have someone there argue for you Want to walk into interview season actually ready? Check out my Interview Ready package. Book a free 15-minute intro to see if it is a good fit. Part 1 of Interview Ready, a six part run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each one stands alone, so jump in anywhere. I'm the founder of OFFERGOBLIN and ex-Centerview tech.

After this session, you will know how to choose between the GRE and GMAT based on your target programs, your testing strengths, and how each exam is actually evaluated by admissions committees. We will cover which schools still prefer one over the other, how to read your own diagnostic scores to predict where you will perform better, and what a realistic prep timeline looks like for each test. Attending live means you can describe your specific situation and get a direct answer, not a general framework that may or may not apply to you. MBA Submit & Speak Part 2: The Interview Questions You Know Are Coming [9/17/2026] (Recording)
The MBA interview invitation is out of your hands. Preparing for the first questions they ask is not. This is the second session of the MBA Submit & Speak series. Your application is in, and the waiting has started, which makes this the best preparation window you will get. We take the handful of questions that open almost every MBA interview and work through what a strong answer to each one actually has to do. Across the three sessions, we move from the last days before you submit to the interview that follows. Attend all three to go from deadline to interview with one continuous plan, or drop into the single session you need most. In this session, we work through the questions every interviewer asks: • Walk me through your resume, and why the three-minute answer so often turns into six minutes of chronology. • Why an MBA and why now, spoken out loud, which is a different task from the same question on the page. • Why this school, in a year when every applicant has read the same website and repeats the same phrases. • Why you, and how to answer it without either shrinking or overselling. These are guaranteed questions, and that is exactly what makes a mediocre answer expensive. Your interviewer has heard hundreds of versions and is listening for the one that sounds like a person rather than a rehearsed applicant. Because you know these are coming, you can prepare them properly, and this session shows you what properly looks like. I have guided more than 100 applicants into every M7 program, across the top 20 in the U.S., and into leading international programs, including INSEAD, London Business School, IESE, Esade, Oxford, Cambridge, NUS, and more. Be ready for the questions you can see coming. Register now to claim your spot.

Clean up Your Consulting Resume in 30 mins [9/28/2026] (Recording)
Your resume gets about 10 seconds with a screener before someone decides whether to keep reading. In this 30-minute session, I'll walk you through exactly what MBB screeners look for in those 10 seconds, and how to fix the gap between what your resume says and what they need to see. This is the honest version — what actually happens to your application at McKinsey, BCG, and Bain, and the mistakes that get otherwise strong candidates cut. Who this is for: Undergrads, MBA students, and experienced hires applying to consulting. Useful whether you're starting from a blank page or trying to salvage a resume that isn't getting callbacks.
✍️ Write MBA Essays That Stand Out: Why MBA, Why Now, Why This School [6/25/2026] (Recording)
🤔Are you struggling to write clear, specific, and convincing answers to “Why an MBA?”, “Why now?”, and “Why this school?” These three questions sit at the heart of almost every strong MBA application. They may look simple, but weak answers are one of the fastest ways to sound generic, unfocused, or interchangeable with thousands of other applicants. In this focused 45-minute session, you’ll learn how to turn these core essay themes into a sharper, more differentiated MBA story. ✍️ We’ll break down what admissions committees are really looking for, why these questions matter so much, and the most common mistakes applicants make when writing about their goals, timing, and school fit. You’ll see examples drawn from successful MBA application materials, along with detailed analysis of what makes an answer strong or weak. We’ll cover how to connect your background, career goals, personal motivations, and school research into essays that feel specific, credible, and authentic. You’ll also learn how to avoid vague claims like “global network,” “diverse community,” and “leadership opportunities,” and replace them with school-specific details that actually strengthen your candidacy. By the end of the session, you’ll understand how to: ✅ Build stronger answers to “Why MBA?”, “Why now?”, and “Why this school?” ✅ Connect your past experience to your future goals ✅ Show real school fit without sounding generic ✅ Make your essays more personal, strategic, and admissions-ready ✅ Avoid common essay mistakes that weaken otherwise strong applications We’ll close with a live Q&A where you can ask about your own essay strategy, school fit, goals, or anything that wasn’t fully clear from the presentation. Seats are limited, so register now to strengthen one of the most important parts of your MBA application. 🚀 ⭐ Plus, attendees who stay for the full session will automatically be entered to win a free 1-hour coaching session with me, a $259 value.
MBA Personal Statement Strategy: Crafting a Compelling Personal Narrative [8/13/2026] (Recording)
MBA applications often include at least one essay prompting applicants to describe themselves and their personal stories through experiences that go beyond the applicant's resume, forcing the applicant to be introspective and reflect on different aspects of their personal, professional, and academic lives. If these essay prompts are not blatantly identified as personal statement prompts, how can we identify them? Additionally, since we all have so many personal stories that define different aspects of our identities and lives, how do you choose the right stories to tell the admissions committee? Furthermore, how do you keep these deeply personal stories limited to within the confines of strict word limits? And how do you ensure that these stories complement the rest of your application? Walk through solutions to these important questions and more with me during this livestream focused exclusively on drafting stronger personal statements. After the livestream concludes, participants will have acquired actionable strategies to take their stories from raw ideas to polished personal statements that will clearly and emphatically express to admissions committees why you are an ideal candidate.
Successful MBA Client Case Studies: From Applying to Completing the First Year [8/25/2026] (Recording)
What does a successful MBA journey really look like, from developing an application strategy to completing the first year of business school? In this live conversation, I will be joined by Alana, a former client who has just completed her first year at her dream school, London Business School. Although her experience is at LBS, the lessons from her application, waitlist journey, school decision, and first year are relevant to applicants targeting leading MBA programs around the world. We will look back at her complete journey: how she approached the application process, presented her background and goals, navigated the uncertainty of being waitlisted, and ultimately earned admission. We will also move beyond admissions to discuss what happened after she arrived on campus. Alana will share how the academic, professional, social, and community experience compared with what she expected while applying. We will discuss: How Alana developed her MBA application strategy The challenges she faced during the application process What it was like to be waitlisted How she responded and continued strengthening her candidacy What helped her ultimately earn admission How she evaluated the opportunity and prepared for business school The biggest surprises from her first year How the reality compared with her expectations What she wishes she had understood as an applicant Her advice for current MBA candidates This will be an honest conversation about both sides of the MBA journey: what it takes to present yourself effectively during the admissions process, and what the experience is actually like once you arrive. Bring your questions about applications, waitlists, selecting a program, student life, career development, and the transition from applicant to MBA student.
Drop in Q&A Rnd 1 MBA- Know your story and uniqueness. Not cookie cutter advice [7/16/2026] (Recording)
Round 1 deadlines are coming. Your essay is probably not-started. Your story probably doesn't make sense yet. That's fine — that's exactly what we're going to figure out. I'm Bryan, Wharton undergrad, MIT Sloan MBA, and I've spent 12 years helping people turn complicated, non-linear careers into applications that actually get read. I've seen the cookie-cutter essays. I've seen the AI-written ones. Adcoms have too. We're not doing that. In this session we'll talk about what Round 1 actually means for your chances, how to find the thread that connects your story, what schools are really asking when they say "why MBA, why now," and how to stop writing essays that sound like everyone else's. No fluff. No templates. Just the stuff that actually moves the needle. Bring your messy draft. Bring your confused career pivot. Bring your "I don't know how to explain what I do" problem. We'll figure it out together.

Choosing the Right Law School for You [7/29/2026] (Recording)
There are almost 200 ABA-accredited law schools in the United States, spread out across most states and with varying program sizes, legal specialties, and campus environments. While focusing on the U.S. News and World Report rankings may feel like the be-all and end-all of law school choice, the reality is that picking the law school that’s right for you as an individual goes much deeper. As someone who graduated from and worked as an admissions director in a law school that has been in both the first and second tiers, Liz C. understands that not everyone is aiming for the T14, T30, or even T50 schools—she was one of them. Let’s explore what factors should actually influence your law school choices and how to narrow down your list to a manageable one before the application process starts.
