College Admissions

Over the last nine admission cycles, I have supported more than 170 students globally, helping them earn 60+ Ivy League offers and acceptances to other top-tier U.S. and international institutions. My students have collectively secured upwards of 6 million USD in need-based and merit-based scholarships, significantly reducing the cost of their education. In addition to college admissions, I have guided multiple students to admission into hyper-selective summer programs such as MIT’s Research Science Institute (RSI) and multiple cohorts of the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI). My counseling style is structured, data-informed, and high-touch: I set clear expectations, break complex processes into manageable steps, and hold students accountable while championing their growth. I specialize in working with intellectually curious, impact-driven students aiming for STEM, business, and dual-degree pathways, as well as those targeting competitive summer and research programs to stand out in the applicant pool. Above all, I am deeply invested in helping students clarify their narrative, design distinctive passion projects, and translate their strengths into compelling applications that resonate with top admissions committees. Families who work with me can expect a direct yet supportive partner who combines elite admissions expertise with real-world strategic insight to help students reach their most ambitious goals.

I graduated cum laude from Harvard and went on to earn graduate degrees from MIT, Wharton, and Stanford — giving me firsthand experience navigating admissions at four of the most selective universities in the world. I understand what these institutions look for because I've been through their processes as both an applicant and, later, as a Guest Lecturer at Stanford School of Medicine and MIT. Today I'm an active entrepreneur, investor, and board member with experience spanning six countries and four continents. I've advised students and families across the U.S. and Latin America (I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese) on every aspect of the college admissions journey — from building a compelling profile and discovering the right schools, to crafting standout essays and making the final enrollment decision. My approach is centered on fit, not just prestige: the best school for you is the one where you'll thrive academically, personally, and professionally, and that's not always the one with the lowest acceptance rate. I help students tell their authentic story, identify schools they may not have considered, and put together applications that reflect who they truly are.

Welcome! I am currently an MBA candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and earned my Bachelor of Business Administration with highest honors from the Red McCombs School of Business at UT Austin. Professionally, I’ve worked across investment banking, private equity, and strategic finance, partnering with founders, corporate boards, and institutional investors to shape business narratives and navigate complex strategic decisions. I approach admissions the same way investors evaluate opportunities: through leadership, judgment, trajectory — and, most importantly, fit. The strongest applications show not only why you want a school, but why that specific school is positioned to accelerate your goals. I particularly enjoy working with applicants pursuing careers in business or finance, though I help candidates across backgrounds move beyond resume bullets and develop thoughtful, authentic stories about motivation and impact. My focus isn’t just essay polishing; it’s helping you articulate a narrative that explains your past, shows intentionality in the present, and convincingly points to your future — all while remaining true to who you are. I’d be excited to work together.

When I applied to college, I got into Harvard early, then Stanford, where I ultimately went to study Computer Science and Psychology. Along the way I wrote essays for more than fifteen schools. At the time, the process felt confusing and high-stakes. Looking back, I see what nobody told me then: those essays weren't just applications. They were the first real invitation to decide who I wanted to become. That belief is the core of how I coach. A college essay isn't just a performance for an admissions officer. It's a chance to set your aspirations and articulate a self worth growing into. My goal for every student is twofold: submit the strongest possible essay, and walk away with a stronger sense of who they are and where they're headed.

I bring a unique perspective to college and MBA admissions coaching because I’ve experienced the process from both sides, as an advisor and as an applicant. After graduating from undergrad, I worked at the business school at UCLA in student affairs, where I collaborated closely with admissions and supported prospective students through their journey. I had the opportunity to coach applicants, answer their questions honestly, and help them understand what admissions committees are truly looking for. I also served on my undergraduate alma mater’s admissions committee, where I reviewed applications and essays, giving me direct insight into how candidates are evaluated. After going through the MBA application process myself, I realized how valuable genuine, strategic guidance is. Too often, applicants receive vague advice, especially when networking, and it can be difficult to know how to stand out while still being authentic. That’s why my approach is rooted in honesty and clarity. I help applicants connect the dots between their experiences, their goals, and their story in a way that feels true to who they are. My goal is not to help you become who you think admissions wants but to help you present the strongest, most authentic version of yourself. You’ll always get real answers, thoughtful strategy, and guidance from someone who truly understands the process.
