About Vaishnavi
Hi, I'm Vaish Anna, a Product Manager at Visa and a coach focused on product management recruiting. Over the past several years, I've navigated the PM recruiting journey myself, from landing my first Associate Product Manager role to building a career in product within fintech. Along the way, I've coached aspiring and early-career product managers through every stage of the recruiting process, including resume development, networking strategy, interview preparation, and offer evaluation. My coaching style is practical, structured, and highly personalized. Rather than relying on generic frameworks, I help candidates identify their unique strengths, craft compelling stories, and build a recruiting strategy that fits their goals. Whether you're breaking into product for the first time, transitioning from another field, or preparing for competitive PM interviews, my goal is to help you approach the process with clarity, confidence, and a repeatable game plan. I believe great recruiting outcomes come from preparation, iteration, and strong decision-making. My role is to help you focus on the right things, avoid common mistakes, and move through the process more efficiently.
Why do I coach?
One of the biggest lessons I've learned throughout my career is that access to the right guidance can dramatically change someone's trajectory. As the eldest child in my family, I've always been the trailblazer, forging my own path and learning from my own experiences. When I was navigating recruiting, internships, and the transition into product management, there was no single playbook that explained how to make the right decisions or prepare effectively. Much of what I learned came through trial and error, countless conversations, and figuring things out along the way. Coaching gives me the opportunity to shorten that learning curve for others. I enjoy helping candidates break down complex challenges, build confidence in their abilities, and develop a clear plan for achieving their goals. Some of my favorite moments as a coach are seeing clients land roles they once thought were out of reach or helping them recognize strengths they hadn't fully appreciated themselves. Product management recruiting can often feel overwhelming and ambiguous. I coach because I enjoy bringing structure to that ambiguity and helping people move forward with confidence.
