About Ming
For nearly two decades, I worked in high-performance environments such as Amazon, IBM, and Ogilvy, building data-driven products, leading cross-functional teams, and solving complex problems in digital advertising and analytics. Along the way, I interviewed and coached high-potential talent, helping them grow into confident, strategic, and influential leaders. Today, I mentor and coach high-achieving professionals who want to advance into senior leadership roles, transition careers, or regain clarity and confidence in their professional path. I specialize in helping people who are technically strong but feel “stuck”, unsure how to position themselves, communicate their impact, or step into a bigger version of themselves. As a Certified Coach by International Coaching Federation and Co-active Institute (ACC, CPCC), my approach combines strategic career guidance with mindset development. I help mentees not just work through tactical decisions (interviews, roadmap storytelling, stakeholder influence), but also shift the internal beliefs that may be holding them back (imposter syndrome, perfectionism, or fear of visibility). Why do I coach?
I coach because I know first-hand how powerful it is to have someone who sees your potential and supports you with their expertise along the way. This is especially important for immigrants, underprivileged groups, and minorities. I am an immigrant with a humble beginning who came to the U.S. for graduate studies in my early 20s. Over the last 20 years, I built a successful career, earning an MBA from NYU Stern and spending 7 years as a product and analytics leader at Amazon, but the journey came with many challenges. It wasn’t until the last five years that I began working with coaches and mentors, and I experienced firsthand how transformative that support can be. Mentorship shaped my career trajectory, increased my leadership and effectiveness at work, and, most importantly, helped me build confidence and clarity in my decisions. While I enjoy building great products and helping organizations drive results, the work that has always fulfilled me the most is empowering people. I have a natural talent for identifying people’s strengths and gifts and motivating them to step into their full potential. Because of this passion, I became an MBTI Global Practitioner in 2020 and began coaching part-time. As I experienced the impact of coaching more deeply, I transitioned into full-time coaching in 2023 and later earned my CPCC (Co-Active Professional Certified Coach) and ACC credential with the International Coaching Federation. Coaching allows me to bring my purpose forward: to help others accelerate their growth, build self-belief, and unlock opportunities that might otherwise feel out of reach.
