About Carter

I am a professional software engineer with experience at AWS, Shopify, Grubhub, and Disney. I am also the host of the popular podcast Book Overflow, where each week my co-host and I read and discuss a new software engineering book. Through my podcast, I've interviewed many famous computer science authors such as Brian Kernighan, Stephen Wolfram, and Gergely Orosz! I have received offers from many other Big Tech companies as well. I excel in teaching software engineers how to create a better human connection with their job prospects, whether that's a more personalized resume, superior coding question performance, or honing answers to behavioral questions. Let me teach you my tricks!

Why do I coach?

Despite being a software engineer, I have always found people to be more interesting than computers. Too many software engineers ignore the soft skills necessary to land their dream positions. A someone who excels at soft skills, I view it as my mission to help excellent software engineers achieve their full potential.
