About Alec
Growing up with a passion for technology and business, I discovered product management and found it to be the perfect blend of strategy, technology, and design. After a few internships at tech startups and a final stint at Amazon, I launched a college club to help fellow students navigate product management recruiting. Since graduating, I've worked as an Associate PM at Capital One and have had the opportunity to help candidates prepare for their final round interviews.
Why do I coach?
My university offered limited resources for students pursuing a career in Product Management, which made breaking into the field a challenge. After landing my first product role, I developed a passion for helping others navigate that same journey. Before graduating, I started the first product management club at Emory, focused on providing resources and guidance to students interested in the career path. Over time, I’ve gained valuable insight into the recruiting process—from both the candidate and company side—and I’m committed to sharing that knowledge to support aspiring PMs.
