About

I coach high-achievers through career pivots: people who've done everything right on paper and still aren't sure what's next. I've made the moves my clients are weighing. I started in sales at P&G, left for Wharton, became a consultant at BCG, then came into AI sideways, with no CS degree. I built my first app on the side, joined BCG's Applied AI team, and now lead AI transformation strategy at Scribe. So I'm not coaching from theory. I know the unspoken rules in these places, where high performers get stuck, and what it looks like when someone is optimizing for the wrong thing without realizing it. My style is direct, practical, and warm. We start with what you actually want and work backward from there. I won't let you confuse motion with progress, and I'll tell you when the story you're telling about your career is out of date. I work best with early-career professionals and consultants who are serious about making a change, including into AI. My background in psychological and brain sciences shapes how I listen. The work itself is practical: a clear next move, and the story to tell about it.

Alison’s Career Coaching Qualifications

Experience level: Manager

I've made the pivots my clients are weighing. I started in sales at P&G, where I grew a $30M customer to $40M. I left for a Wharton MBA, joined BCG as a consultant, and then moved sideways into AI with no technical background: I built my first app on the side, joined BCG's Applied AI team, was promoted to Applied AI Lead and then Project Leader, and now lead AI transformation strategy at Scribe. Every one of those moves meant rewriting my story for a new audience, and most of them happened because someone helped me see a door I didn't know was there. I've been doing that for other people for years: mentoring interns and direct reports at P&G and BCG, coaching first-years through recruiting at Wharton, and now working 1:1 with early-career professionals and consultants. My clients have landed at BCG and Wharton, and what they say most is that I'm direct, practical, and warm, and that they leave knowing exactly what to do next.

Why do I coach?

Almost every door in my career was opened by someone else: managers who wrote my recommendations, classmates who prepped me for interviews, the person who first showed me what AI could do. The moments that changed my trajectory weren't promotions. They were honest conversations with people who saw what I couldn't see myself. I coach to hold the door open for the next person.
