I help people get into the rooms they’re aiming for, whether that’s a top MBA program, an MBB offer, or the next step in their career. I’m a current HBS MBA student, spent four years at Bain & Company in Spain and the US, and invested in energy-transition startups in VC before that. I coach three things: MBA admissions (story, school strategy, essays and interviews), consulting recruiting (cases, fit interviews and resumes), and career pivots. Working with me is direct and structured, but always friendly. We start by understanding where you are and where you want to go, then build a clear plan and work through it step by step. You’ll get honest feedback, concrete next steps after every session, and someone genuinely in your corner. Sessions are in English or Spanish, and the first intro call is free!

Welcome to my profile! I’m Alejandro, a current HBS MBA student. My career has been anything but a straight line: I studied engineering at a public university in Spain, worked in renewable energy, moved into VC, and then spent 4 years at Bain & Company in Spain and the US. Each of those moves happened without a ready-made path or a network to lean on, so I know how confusing it can be to figure out your next step, and how much a clear plan helps. At Bain, I coached interns and new hires and helped run university recruiting, and I love helping people find their direction. In our sessions, we’ll get clear on what you actually want, test your options honestly, and build a concrete plan: positioning your story, sharpening your resume, and networking your way into the right conversations. I connect especially well with engineers, international professionals and anyone considering consulting, investing or an MBA, but I’m happy to help anyone ready to take a step forward. Why do I coach?
I came from a public engineering school in Valencia, with no network in consulting, investing or business school. Nobody around me had done any of it, so I figured out most steps on my own, and the few people who took the time to help me made all the difference. For 5+ years, I’ve tried to be that person for others, coaching young professionals on their careers through my universities’ alumni programs and privately. At Bain, I also joined the hiring side - screening resumes and interviewing candidates. That’s where I saw how many smart people get rejected, not for lack of talent, but for things nobody ever told them. Since then, I’ve coached candidates into consulting and helped several applicants with their MBA essays and strategy. All of them got into M7 programs, including HBS and Wharton. I coach because the gap between getting in and not is often just knowing how the game works, and I want to pay forward what others did for me.

- Started as an Associate Consultant, promoted twice to Consultant, and ranked in the top 10% of my class. Worked across the Private Equity Group, AI transformation, strategy and operational turnarounds, in retail, technology, consumer products, industrials, energy and education. Cases spanned +10 countries across the US, Europe, and the Middle East. - I screened resumes, interviewed candidates, ran mock case interviews and coached new hires.

Admitted to Harvard Business School as an international, engineering-background applicant. My own application had to explain three moves - engineering to VC investing to consulting - across two countries and three languages of work. I have also coached admissions directly: I helped a fellow applicant with no coach get into the same HBS class as me, reviewing his essays line by line and proposing the changes that elevated them. He got in. Strong fit for: internationals, engineers and other technical profiles, career switchers, and reapplicants who need a sharper story.
