The application for the Schwarzman Scholars Class of 2026-27 has officially opened for U.S. and Global candidates! With the September 10th deadline now just a few months away, it's the perfect time to start preparing and strategizing how to submit a stellar application. I'm excited to share insights I've gathered over the years by coaching dozens of applicants through this highly competitive and rigorous application process - one that I personally navigated to become a Schwarzman Scholar myself. In this session, I'll walk you through my winning strategies for building a comprehensive profile, aligning your experiences and background with the program's mission and values, writing compelling essays, and much more. As one of Leland's Top 50 Coaches of 2024, I've built a proven track record of success in delivering results for those I work with. During last year's Schwarzman Scholars application cycle, I coached over 25 candidates: 16 were invited to interview as global finalists and 9 were ultimately selected for the prestigious scholarship that had a 2.7% acceptance rate. Whether you're just learning about the program or are already deeply familiar with the application, bring whatever questions you may have. I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

Michael has helped clients get into these schools:
I am an alumnus of the 7th cohort of Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University, where I earned a Master's of Management Science in Global Affairs between 2022-23 and was selected from competitive pool of 3,000+ applicants (<5% acceptance rate). I bring firsthand experience and deep insights into what makes a successful master's application and I've previously helped advise candidates who have gone on to be accepted to prestigious graduate programs across China, Europe, and the United States. Throughout my educational journey, I've learned how to strategically frame and present one's leadership, academic, and professional accomplishments to highlight their unique strengths and successfully stand out.
