The journey to medical school is challenging and complex, with many unwritten rules and highly competitive admissions. However, with the right strategies, it is absolutely possible to navigate the process and reach your personal educational goals. Although I wasn't the smartest applicant on paper, I received 7 MD interview invitations and was accepted to each of these 7 programs. After years of researching, planning, and finally appreciating the results of my efforts, I now understand many of the reasons I succeeded (and also how I could have done it better).
