As a student from a non-target school, I know it's plenty hard to land an APM offer. In fact, I was the first in my alma mater to land an APM. It wasn't easy at all, but if you're ready to work for it, I'm more than happy to help with mock interviews and whatever other advice you may have. I'm really proud to say that I was not only able to get myself an APM offer, but also 4 others who I mocked closely with! I've been a product manager from my own seed-stage startup all the way to a post-PMF company. During this time, I've worked on products that are both B2B and B2C. I've led teams ranging from 6-18 members and shipped products, making an impact of $50M+ I love working on B2C products, and have ample experience in e-commerce and startups :)

I spent 9 years at Amazon as a Principal Technical Product Manager, where I led the strategy and development of complex AI and Generative AI products. This specialization is the culmination of a career spanning 25+ years that began in engineering, giving me a firsthand understanding of how to translate technical skills into strategic product competencies—a critical skill for any aspiring AI product leader.   As a former hiring manager at Amazon who conducted over 150 interviews for these roles, I offer a rare, 360-degree perspective on what it takes to build an impactful career in the most competitive sector of technology. I bring a wealth of experiences, having spent the past 3.5 years in both product adjacent and product management roles in Amazon’s Devices organization, working on Amazon’s first ever smart eyewear with Alexa. Not only did I secure a senior level promotion in less than a year on the team (L5 to L6), but also successfully transitioned into a post-MBA senior product management role without having an MBA. As a PM, I’ve gained deep expertise launching multiple software and hardware features which includes developing feature roadmaps, product strategy (PRFAQ’s), BRDs, customer insights analysis, and prioritization frameworks. I am passionate about helping aspiring product managers navigate their career paths and achieve their goals from breaking into the PM role, preparing for the unique interview style of big tech companies like Amazon, or writing a compelling promotion doc.
