With 17+ years in product leadership (Product Manager at Google/DoubleClick, VP of Product at DialogTech directing a $40M B2B SaaS platform), I know what separates senior ICs from product leaders. As a student from a non-target school, I know it's plenty hard to land an APM offer. In fact, I was the first in my alma mater to land an APM. I've been a product manager from my own seed-stage startup all the way to a post-PMF company. During this time, I've worked on products that are both B2B and B2C. I've led teams ranging from 6-18 members and shipped products, making an impact of $50M+ I love working on B2C products, and have ample experience in e-commerce and startups :)
