Description

This is a four-session package for an experienced professional moving their career between markets. The barriers are usually not the ones people assume. You are authorised to work and you have real commercial experience. What is actually in the way is that your experience does not translate on paper, your target is not yet decided, and your network sits in the wrong country. Session 1 — Target definition and reality-testing. We decide the format you are optimising for: remote with travel, relocating outright, or employers genuinely built for distributed teams. Everything after this depends on that choice. We also settle level, compensation floor, and which lane makes most sense. Session 2 — Translating your materials. Your CV rebuilt for the new market and for applicant tracking systems, leading with scope, revenue and market coverage rather than titles that do not travel. Work authorisation made impossible to miss. LinkedIn rewritten so both documents tell one story. Session 3 — Search strategy and building a network from zero. A target company list across the lanes we have chosen, and a deliberate plan for building relationships in a market where you do not yet have any — who to approach, in what order, and what to say. At your level most roles are not filled through job boards, so the search has to be built around conversations. Session 4 — Interviews and communication style. Local interview norms, what recruiters in your target market read as confidence versus overstatement, and how to talk about a career built elsewhere as range rather than distance. We will practise the questions you will certainly face about location, level and why now. Between sessions, send me drafts, applications you are unsure about, or messages before they go out, and I will come back to you within 48 hours on weekdays.

Retail Industry Expert | Breaking Into Creative Careers

My path started as a buyer at Bergdorf Goodman, then market intelligence and digital strategy at LVMH across 75+ Maisons. Today I interview and advise executives at Chanel, Louis Vuitton and PUIG for Beyond Luxury Group, and teach strategic merchandising to master’s students at Istituto Marangoni Paris. I am also close enough to the start of a luxury career to remember exactly how it goes. I made my own move into the Paris market recently, rebuilding from zero in an industry that runs on relationships and insider knowledge most people do not have access to, so I know what the applications, the silence and the interviews are actually like in this market, right now. That combination is the point. I read your materials the way the people hiring you read them, because I sit on that side of the table, and I coach on the parts of a luxury career that are hardest to work out alone: how to position your experience the way luxury hiring managers actually read it, how to build the network that gets you in the room, and how to navigate an industry that does not publish its own rules. I work with students and recent graduates trying to get in, professionals pivoting from adjacent industries, people moving between the US and European markets, and applicants to fashion business master’s programs.
