The Mental Habits of High Performers [6/30/2026] (Recording)

The Mental Habits of High Performers [6/30/2026] (Recording)

Your thoughts, interpretations, and mental patterns have a direct impact on how you perform at work. Many high-performing professionals experience patterns like overthinking, perfectionism, fear of failure, self-doubt, or harsh self-criticism, often without realizing how much these patterns influence decision-making, confidence, communication, and performance. In this session, we’ll explore how the mind works, how thoughts shape performance, and practical tools to build more intentional and supportive mental habits in high-pressure professional environments. We’ll cover: - How thoughts influence emotions, behaviors, and performance outcomes - Common mental patterns experienced by high performers - Why the mind is wired to detect risk, pressure, and potential failure - A practical framework for questioning and reframing unhelpful thoughts - How awareness creates more intentional responses under pressure - Practical mindset shifts and habits that support stronger mental performance over time You’ll leave with practical tools to better manage your internal dialogue, improve resilience and decision-making, and approach your work with greater clarity, confidence, and intentionality. This session is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their mindset, improve performance, and build a healthier relationship with pressure, growth, and high expectations.

Offload 25% of Your Day Job, Live: I Automate an Attendee's Real Workflow in 45 [10/17/2026] (Recording)

Most professionals lose hours a week to the same work: reports, status updates, data entry, inbox triage, follow-ups. This isn't a slideshow about AI tools. I'll take a real workflow from a registrant and automate it live, from start to finish. What you'll see: How to spot which parts of your week are automatable, and which aren't worth trying A live build, from messy process to working automation The simple tool setup behind it (AI assistants, Make/n8n-style automation, your existing apps) How to turn saved hours into a story that gets you promoted or hired Want your workflow automated live? Describe it in the registration question. I'll pick 1–2 to build on the call. Best for: operators, CSMs, analysts, ops and sales professionals who want leverage now, and people using that leverage as proof for their next role.

Get Into IESE Business School — Admissions Briefing [9/11/2026] (Recording)

Get Into IESE Business School — Admissions Briefing [9/11/2026] (Recording)

In this session, I’ll share my perspective as an IESE MBA graduate and Alumni Admissions Interviewer, with four years of experience interviewing candidates and continued connections across the IESE community. I’ll give you a candid view of the application and interview process, what to expect in each stage, and how to position your profile effectively. We’ll also go beyond the application itself: life at IESE, the case method, study groups, student and professional clubs, international opportunities, case competitions, career services, and the experience of living in Barcelona. Whether you are applying in Round 1, Round 2, or a later round, this session is designed to help you understand IESE from the perspective of someone who has actually lived the MBA experience and continues to be closely involved with the school. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what IESE is looking for, how to approach your application, and how to make the most of the process. The interview perspective is particularly relevant because IESE's current alumni guidance emphasizes assessing a candidate's pre-MBA journey, career trajectory, motivation for an MBA, IESE fit, career goals, and depth of knowledge about the school.

From Enlisted Green Beret to Stanford MBA and Deep Tech VC: AMA with Ian Kennedy [6/9/2026] (Recording)

This is an informal, no-agenda open AMA on my path from the Army Special Forces to business school at Stanford and a career in venture capital. Bring your questions about the transition out of the military, applying to business school while still serving, breaking into VC and tech, or anything else! I served as an enlisted Green Beret (18E) in 1st SFG and applied to business school while on deployment, with admittance to Stanford, MIT, and Berkeley. I chose to go to Stanford, where did a joint MBA/MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on AI and quantum computing. After business school, I was Chief of Staff at Khosla Ventures, where I helped invest in and manage a large portfolio of deep tech companies. I'm now a full-time coach helping military and veteran applicants through the MBA admissions process.

We will cover how to identify which pilots are worth scaling, how to build internal alignment around an AI roadmap, and how to define success metrics that hold up when leadership asks for proof of ROI. Attending live means you can describe your specific situation and hear how those details change the answer, which a recording cannot replicate. The coach works on AI strategy engagements daily, and this session reflects how they actually think through the problems that stall most organizations.
