SAT Standard Tutoring
The most popular SAT package: a complete 1-on-1 prep arc for students who want a full, structured engagement to maximize their score. The right package for students with a few months to prep, a clear goal, and the motivation to put in the work between sessions. The engagement begins with a strategy session. I review this carefully and build a custom prep plan around your student's specific strengths, weaknesses, and target score. From there, we use the 24 hours of 1-on-1 instruction to work systematically through Reading and Writing strategy, Math fundamentals and pattern recognition, time management, and the test-design insights that separate top scorers from average ones. All curriculum and prep materials are included, your student doesn't need to purchase anything else. Throughout the engagement, we take multiple full-length proctored practice tests under real conditions, and we work through detailed reviews of every test together. These practice tests aren't just measurement, they're where the real teaching happens, because that's where the patterns become visible and the strategy gets refined. Between sessions, your student has direct messaging access for time-sensitive questions: a problem they got stuck on, a strategy question, a passage they want feedback on. I respond within 24 hours on weekdays and most messages get a same-day response during peak periods. Standard Tutoring is the right package for the majority of motivated students preparing for the SAT. Students with a major score gap to close or a longer prep arc should consider the Intensive (40 hours).
What's included
This is the package most students need: a full, structured 1-on-1 engagement designed to take a motivated student through the complete arc of SAT preparation. We meet for 60–90 minute live video sessions on a regular cadence (typically weekly), and between sessions your student has direct messaging access for time-sensitive questions. My approach is built on pattern recognition, test strategy, and disciplined execution, not endless practice tests. The SAT rewards students who understand how the test is designed, where the traps are, and how to manage the clock. Across the 24 hours, we work systematically through every section of the test, with regular full-length proctored practice tests so we're always measuring real progress against the conditions of test day. The students I work best with in this package are motivated, coachable, and ready to put in real work between sessions. Tutoring is a partnership - I bring the strategy, curriculum, and expert eye, and your student brings the effort. The students who treat the work seriously between our sessions are the ones who hit (or exceed) their target scores.

SAT Expert | Perfect 1600 Score | 16+ Years, 3,000+ Students Coached
I work with students aiming for top outcomes: a 1400+ SAT, a 700+ GMAT, or admission to highly selective colleges and MBA programs. Over 16+ years and 3,000+ students across six continents, I've built a practice around one idea: most students don't need more work, they need the right work, structured the right way. My career started at Prep Zone in Singapore, where I helped expand the company into Shanghai before returning to New York and joining some of the city's top test prep and admissions firms, including Veritas Prep, Bespoke Education, and Advantage Testing. I went on to found my own practice, Global Scholars, where I now work with students across six continents. On the testing side, my students average 200+ point gains on the SAT and 100+ on the GMAT. This is driven by pattern recognition, test strategy, and disciplined execution rather than brute-force practice. On the admissions side, my work is about coherence. Smart students often arrive with strong but scattered pieces: academics, extracurriculars, a story they haven't fully figured out. My job is to help them put it all together: a sharp narrative, a strategic school list, and essays that actually sound like them. 95%+ of my students are admitted to at least one of their top-choice schools, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, MIT, UChicago, NYU, and UCLA. I graduated from NYU and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School, which gives me a current, first-hand perspective on both undergraduate and MBA admissions. If you want a structured, strategic partner, not generic advice, let's talk.
