Make the Complex Simple
You know your subject. The problem is that everyone else has to understand it too. This package is for technical experts, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, product people, consultants, and other smart humans who live inside complicated subjects. Knowing more is not the same thing as communicating better. I spent a large part of my career working at the intersection of technical complexity, sales, leadership, and communication. One thing became obvious very quickly: If your audience can’t understand what you’re saying, it doesn’t matter how right you are. We’ll work on turning deep expertise into communication that executives, customers, partners, and normal humans can actually follow. Without dumbing it down.
What's included
Three 60-minute one-on-one sessions built around your actual work. Bring something real: a technical presentation, customer conversation, executive briefing, pitch, product explanation, security discussion, or complicated idea you routinely need to explain. We’ll work through it together and use it as the laboratory. My style is highly practical. I’ll stop you when you disappear into jargon, ask the questions your audience is probably afraid to ask, and help you find the simplest accurate version of what you’re trying to communicate. You won’t leave with a binder. You’ll leave better at explaining what you already know.
- Identify what your audience needs to know, separate important from interesting info, explain complicated concepts clearly, use stories and analogies without sounding cheesy, communicate recommendations instead of dumping data, and present technical material to nontechnical audiences while preserving accuracy.

Founder, Fuel The Story | Executive Presence & On-Camera Communication
I spent 29 years at Microsoft, most recently as a Director in Security Sales Enablement. That means I've spent a lot of time helping smart people explain complicated things, present to executives, influence decisions, lead teams, navigate careers, and communicate without losing the room. I've also sat through enough bad presentations, vague career advice, corporate jargon, and "executive presence" coaching to know what doesn't work. My coaching style is direct, practical, conversational, and low on ceremony. I'm not here to turn you into a polished corporate robot. I'm here to help you think more clearly, communicate more effectively, make better decisions, and sound like yourself while doing it. If you bring me a real problem, we'll work on the real problem. No fluff. No guru nonsense. No pretending every challenge can be solved with a vision board. Just better questions, honest feedback, and practical next steps.
