MBB Cover Letter: Final Polish
The goal of this package is to make sure your cover letter is up to MBB standards. I'll do a full review and provide you with detailed line-level edits. We'll take an average or close-to-done cover letter and make sure it's ready to submit to your target companies. This package is only for people who have a cover letter that is in near-complete form, but could use a final polish so it stands out among thousands of competitive applicants. This package includes: (1) [IF NEEDED] My MBB Cover Letter Template. (2) As many revs as needed (usually ~1-3) to get your cover letter into final form. (3) Final line-level edits needed to ensure the cover letter is (a) structured cleanly and clearly, (b) relevant to the firm(s) you're applying to, and (c) doesn't read like generic AI output. (4) A live final review if it's necessary.
What's included
- A finished, MBB-level, ready-to-submit cover letter.
- Feedback from a former Bain interviewer who read 400+ applications.
- As many revs as needed to get into final form.

Going through Bain's interviewer training, making hiring decisions, collaborating with campus recruiters, and driving the behind-the-scenes process provided the foundation for the business I've build on Leland – where I've been a Top Coach since 2023 and have the most sessions run of all Consulting coaches. Here are a few more things you should know about me: ◆ Education | MIT Sloan MBA (Class of 2021), Washington University in St. Louis (Class of 2016) ◆ Bain Experience | Worked at Bain for 4 years with a focus on private equity due diligence and growth strategy ◆ Coaching Results | Clients have landed 150 offers at MBB firms (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) and others including LEK, ZS Associates, Accenture, Deloitte, Kearney, Strategy&, Alvarez and Marsal, etc. ◆ Interests | Hiking (Alps, Patagonia, Andes, etc.), former semi-professional poker player, meditator & yogi too!
