Personalized academic planning, skill development, and premedical portfolio building for your path to medical school. College is an important time to build the academic foundation, experiences, skills, and relationships that will shape your future path to medical school. This package is designed for college students who want personalized, ongoing guidance as they make thoughtful academic decisions, strengthen the habits needed to succeed in college, and intentionally develop a strong premedical portfolio. Together, we will create a personalized plan that connects where you are now with your long-term goals. We will map out your coursework and premedical prerequisites, strengthen your academic habits and study strategies, and identify meaningful opportunities in clinical experience, research, service, leadership, and other areas that align with your interests. Throughout our work together, we will regularly assess your progress, navigate challenges, and adjust your plan as your interests and goals evolve. My role is to serve as your advisor, strategist, and partner throughout this stage of your premedical journey. I will help you prioritize what matters most, make intentional decisions about how you spend your time, build relationships with faculty and mentors, and develop the skills and experiences that will prepare you for both the medical school application process and the demands of medical education.

My approach to advising is personalized, strategic, and grounded in more than 15 years of experience working with prehealth students and medical school applicants. I take the time to understand the full picture of your candidacy, including your academic preparation, experiences, goals, and concerns, so that my guidance reflects your individual path rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. My advising style is collaborative, candid, and supportive. I ask thoughtful questions, provide clear feedback, and help you identify your strengths, areas for growth, and the priorities that will have the greatest impact. I also explain the reasoning behind my recommendations so you can make informed decisions and take ownership of the process. Throughout our work together, I will be your partner in the process and someone firmly in your corner. Whether we are planning your path to medical school, developing your application, or preparing for interviews, I will celebrate your progress, help you navigate challenges, and keep you focused on moving forward. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, I have guided hundreds of students through academic decision-making, personal challenges, and complex pathways toward graduate and professional school. My career began in student affairs at UCLA Medical School, followed by graduate work in Educational Psychology at Columbia University, where I also worked during that time at their medical school. Soon after graduating from Columbia, I began working at New York University and took a pivotal leadership role directing NYU’s career changer Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program, where I discovered my passion for supporting aspiring healthcare professionals and mentoring students at critical moments in their academic journeys. Fifteen years later, I've worked with hundreds of college students across all fields of study, helping them navigate the full arc of their undergraduate experience - course selection and academic planning to overcoming setbacks, building strong faculty relationships, and developing the skills needed to thrive independently. As a program director, I have led the redesign and expansion of multiple prehealth programs at institutions including Barnard College and Sarah Lawrence College. I extend this depth of institutional and advising expertise into personalized, one-on-one support for students and applicants. My approach reflects a deep understanding of the challenges students face during college and a commitment to helping them make thoughtful decisions that position them for long-term success academically, professionally, and personally.
