A-to-Z Career Planning
This career package is designed to take you through the entire career journey, from identifying your career values and goals, explore suitable career options, and develop an action plan for you to achieve. Along the way I'll answer any and all careers questions you have and support you in realizing those plans. Over the course of 6 1-hour coaching sessions and extensive offline profile and materials review, we will cover: 1) Career Exploration and Fit We will begin by assessing your values, skills, strengths, education, and experiences to chart different career scenarios (plans) with potential job titles and companies. 2) CV/Resume Review and Optimization Based on your objectives and profile, we will work together to craft a resume that highlights your strengths and achievements, tailored to specific position descriptions to land more interviews. 3) LinkedIn Profile Review and Optimization With great career clarity and strong CV, we will translate your personal brand to your LinkedIn profile, where I will guide you on crafting a profile optimized for recruiters and networking. 4) Job Search and Networking Strategies I will help you learn how to leverage LinkedIn (and other sites) to explore hidden job opportunities and reach to the right contact that can get you to your dream job. 5) Cover Letter and Interview Preparation We will work our way through a targeted job description and show you how to customize your cover letter based on a position and anticipate specific interview questions; we'll discuss how to tackle these essential first interview questions and demystify what interviewers are looking for in your answers. 6) Mock Interview Ideally delivered in a role-playing format (but flexible), we will have a full 60-min session to mock a specific or generic job description. I will offer extensive feedback on structure, length, content, and overall delivery, along with insights into what recruiters are looking for. I have 10 years of coaching and career advising for Bachelors, MBA, Masters, and PhD students, specializing in supporting professionals to define their career paths and optimize their job search, application, and interviewing skills. I have a further 10 years in team leadership and business strategy in marketing and sales, integrating personal branding, self-selling, and communicating with audiences in a way that resonates.
