College Profile Assessment
A focused 60-minute strategy session designed to give your family a clear, honest read on where your student stands and what to focus on next. This is the right starting point for families who aren't sure yet whether they need a coach, where to invest their time, or how competitive their student really is. Before our session, I'll send a structured intake form covering academics, extracurriculars, testing, and emerging interests - to be completed 24 hours in advance so we can use our time strategically. During our 60-minute video session, I'll work through your full profile and share an honest assessment of where you stand against students applying to similar schools. We'll talk through realistic school list framing, identify the highest-leverage areas to focus on over the next 6–12 months, and address any specific questions you bring. Within 48 hours after our call, I'll send a written follow-up summarizing the key takeaways, the prioritized action plan, and any specific recommendations tailored to your grade level and goals. The full $599 cost can be credited toward any larger package booked within 30 days — so this also works as a low-risk first step if you're considering longer-term coaching.
What's included
I take a structured, no-fluff approach to coaching. Before our session, I'll review your intake form carefully so we can spend our 60 minutes on real strategy rather than information-gathering. During the call, I'm direct: I'll tell you exactly what I see, where you're strong, where the gaps are, and where to focus. After the call, you'll get a written summary so nothing gets lost. My goal in this session is simple: leave you with more clarity than you walked in with, and a concrete plan for what to do next.
- An honest assessment of your current academic, extracurricular, and testing profile
- A realistic read on which schools are reaches, targets, and likelies given today's profile
- A prioritized action plan covering the next 6–12 months, tailored to your student's grade level
- A written follow-up summary with specific next steps you can act on immediately
- Clarity on whether ongoing coaching is the right next step — and if so, which package fits

I work with students aiming for top outcomes: a 1400+ SAT, a 700+ GMAT, or admission to highly selective colleges and MBA programs. Over 16+ years and 3,000+ students across six continents, I've built a practice around one idea: most students don't need more work, they need the right work, structured the right way. My career started at Prep Zone in Singapore, where I helped expand the company into Shanghai before returning to New York and joining some of the city's top test prep and admissions firms, including Veritas Prep, Bespoke Education, and Advantage Testing. I went on to found my own practice, Global Scholars, where I now work with students across six continents. On the testing side, my students average 200+ point gains on the SAT and 100+ on the GMAT. This is driven by pattern recognition, test strategy, and disciplined execution rather than brute-force practice. On the admissions side, my work is about coherence. Smart students often arrive with strong but scattered pieces: academics, extracurriculars, a story they haven't fully figured out. My job is to help them put it all together: a sharp narrative, a strategic school list, and essays that actually sound like them. 95%+ of my students are admitted to at least one of their top-choice schools, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, MIT, UChicago, NYU, and UCLA. I graduated from NYU and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School, which gives me a current, first-hand perspective on both undergraduate and MBA admissions. If you want a structured, strategic partner, not generic advice, let's talk.
