Strategy & Execution: Up to 4 Schools
Focused, full-service application support for juniors and seniors applying to a curated short list of up to 4 schools. The right package for students who are confident in their direction, have a tight school list, and want full strategic support without paying for capacity they won't use. We begin with a comprehensive intake and narrative discovery session, where I work with your student to surface the stories, themes, and angles that will anchor their application across the entire list. From there, we build a school-by-school strategy: positioning, fit, and approach for each of your 4 target schools, including any ED, REA, or EA decisions that need to be locked in early. The bulk of the engagement is full-service application work. The Personal Statement gets the depth of attention it deserves: topic exploration, brainstorming, drafting, and unlimited revisions until the essay is genuinely strong (typically 5–8 substantive drafts). For each of your 4 schools, I provide complete supplemental essay support — every prompt, every draft, every revision — typically running 8–15 supplements depending on which schools are on the list. Alongside the essays, we handle the Common Application end-to-end: activities list, Additional Information, resume crafting, and recommendation letter strategy (who to ask, when, and how to brief them). Before each application is submitted, I do a final review to catch anything that needs polish. If interviews are part of any school's process, interview prep is included. If your student is deferred or waitlisted at a school, I provide strategy support through that as well. Throughout the engagement, your student has direct messaging access for time-sensitive questions, and we meet live for strategy and substantive drafting work as the cycle progresses.
What's included
This package combines live 1-on-1 video sessions with asynchronous review of essay drafts, application materials, and direct messaging access throughout the engagement. We meet live for strategy work, substantive drafting sessions, and key inflection points in the cycle, typically every 1–2 weeks during peak season, and stay in close async contact between sessions. My approach is structured and direct. On essays, I work iteratively rather than trying to "fix" drafts in two passes - most students go through 5–8 substantive drafts on the Personal Statement and several rounds on each supplement before the work is genuinely strong. I'm honest in feedback, but I'm also a real partner through every round. The students I work best with in this package are juniors and seniors who already have a clear sense of where they want to apply, are coachable and motivated, and want to make sure their applications across a focused short list are as strong as they can possibly be, without paying for capacity they don't need.

I work with students aiming for top outcomes: a 1400+ SAT, a 700+ GMAT, or admission to highly selective colleges and MBA programs. Over 16+ years and 3,000+ students across six continents, I've built a practice around one idea: most students don't need more work, they need the right work, structured the right way. My career started at Prep Zone in Singapore, where I helped expand the company into Shanghai before returning to New York and joining some of the city's top test prep and admissions firms, including Veritas Prep, Bespoke Education, and Advantage Testing. I went on to found my own practice, Global Scholars, where I now work with students across six continents. On the testing side, my students average 200+ point gains on the SAT and 100+ on the GMAT. This is driven by pattern recognition, test strategy, and disciplined execution rather than brute-force practice. On the admissions side, my work is about coherence. Smart students often arrive with strong but scattered pieces: academics, extracurriculars, a story they haven't fully figured out. My job is to help them put it all together: a sharp narrative, a strategic school list, and essays that actually sound like them. 95%+ of my students are admitted to at least one of their top-choice schools, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, MIT, UChicago, NYU, and UCLA. I graduated from NYU and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School, which gives me a current, first-hand perspective on both undergraduate and MBA admissions. If you want a structured, strategic partner, not generic advice, let's talk.
