This is the full program for landing an advisory or buy-side secondaries role. Who to reach out to, how to write outreach that gets answered, and a mock coffee chat. I review your first batch of emails in writing. Session 3: Technicals I. NAV, reference dates, pricing as a discount or premium to NAV, deferred consideration, and how a continuation vehicle comes together. Session 4: Technicals II. GP alignment economics, the lead investor and syndicate, how a buyer underwrites the asset, and a walkthrough of a public CV deal. Session 5: Mock interview, advisory style. Behavioral, secondaries technicals, and a deal discussion, with written scoring afterward. Session 6: Mock interview, buy-side style. Harder technicals and an investment case, plus a final plan for your remaining interviews. All examples use public deals and illustrative numbers.
