My own path to business school was anything but traditional: I moved to the U.S. from Turkey to attend the University of Chicago. Unlike most business school applicants, I left consulting within a year and joined a small startup that later went public. I was fortunate to be admitted to both MIT Sloan with a scholarship and HBS, and can confidently say I know how to package a unique background into a compelling application. I’m especially passionate about helping nontraditional and international candidates stand out. I speak Turkish and love supporting Turkish applicants in particular. When I first began my application process for MBA programs, I was utterly lost. I had interesting stories, but I didn't know what mattered or how to craft my experiences into a unique and compelling narrative that would enable me to stand out from the tens of thousands of other applicants.
