I successfully completed the transition to impact investing through grad school and am now at JPMorgan Chase on the Impact Finance team. I hold an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where I experienced both the transformative power of the programme and the rigour of the admissions process. Since graduating, I built a decade-long track record in senior leadership at Amazon, Uber, Sylvera, and Morgan Stanley — giving me genuine insight into the career trajectories, pivots, and challenges that MBA applicants and graduates navigate. Today I work as a Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach, with advanced training in organisational psychology from the NHS Tavistock Clinic and direct coaching experience guiding senior leaders and MBA students through INSEAD's flagship Personal Leadership Development Programme. I bring both the strategic rigour of a top business school education and the psychological depth to help you clarify your story, sharpen your positioning, and unlock what makes you genuinely distinctive — whether you're crafting your application or plotting your next career move.

Harvard Business School and Stanford GSB admit with a non-traditional applicant story (was coming from established career in academic medicine at age 32; also a queer mom with no typical "business" experience). I welcome clients of all stripes but am especially passionate about and uniquely qualified to serve applicants who non-traditional or who are applying to MD/MBA programs.

HBS MBA from a non-traditional path — I didn't fit the standard profile and got in anyway. I work with applicants who have compelling stories they haven't yet learned to tell: career changers, founders, first-generation students, and people whose backgrounds don't map neatly onto a consulting or banking trajectory. I spent 3+ years preparing to apply to my dream business school programs. On that journey, I talked to hundreds of others also on this path, which helped me uncover best practices. I also worked with MBA consultants and MBA-prep organizations that taught me additional tools I could have adopted to shorten the time-to-apply timeline. Ever since I got into my desired program, I've advised many MBA candidates and provided my unique learnings, which have resulted in most getting into their top programs. I'm passionate about helping others navigate what often feels like an unruly MBA path.

In my own application, I benefitted greatly from an admissions consultant who coached me to write the best essay possible to capture my unique qualities and strengths. This preparation and pre-write process was instrumental, and I will work with you on the ideation exercises that we did together as well as provide more general thought partnership around the key themes and stories you would like to highlight in your admissions essay. You want to ensure your application is well-rounded; I will read through your application in its entirety to make sure we use your essay tactically to fill in any missing details. Quick tip: When you submit your MBA application, you must be able to say without a doubt that the admissions committee knows who YOU are after reading your materials - authenticity is paramount. I have always been an avid reader and strong writer, and am the de facto editor for my friends and family. For credentials, I scored in the 99th percentile on GMAT verbal; received a perfect SAT score for my college applications in 2012 (2400); and a perfect SAT critical reading score (800). I will be able to help you not only with essay ideation but also with structural questions and revisions. While I am most passionate about essay ideation and writing, I am qualified to help on any of the short answer questions, as well as work with you to create the strongest MBA resume possible.
