I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. That said, you can expect me to be constructively candid – because coaching is about challenging you and accelerating your growth, not making you feel good so I can collect a check. In addition to sitting on both Stanford's and Northwestern's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech.

Hi, I’m Selina! I was accepted into 3/3 deferred MBA programs I applied to: Stanford GSB, Harvard Business School, and Wharton. My edge is storytelling. I’m a former Top 2 nationally ranked debater, published writer, editor, and AI product / strategy operator with experience at TikTok, Microsoft, The Walt Disney Company, and Brookings. I excel in helping candidates with application polishing, essays, resume, short answers, interviews, etc. in a way that is unforgettable.

I am a current student of the Kellogg School of Management, with previous work experience within management consulting and in two high growth startups in NYC . I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in Finance and received my masters degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. After school, I spent some time at management consulting firm Guidehouse Consulting before I transitioned to a Series B Unicorn food tech startup called Gorillas - the fastest European startup to ever reach a $1B valuation. I led the growth function at Gorillas for one year until I was offered the opportunity to lead North American expansion for micro-mobility startup Zoomo. At Zoomo I led our expansion into new markets, including launching our first Canadian operations. As an applicant from an over-represented demographic with a sub-optimal GMAT score and a lack of "prestigious" work experience I was able to navigate the application process and successfully land multiple top business school admits. As a coach, I plan to teach you the tips and tricks necessary to be successful in the ultra-competitive business school admissions cycle. I had immense success with gaining admission to a number of M7 and Top 10 schools including Kellogg, Yale, and Dartmouth Tuck. Annie is an experienced and passionate coach who uses the power of storytelling to inspire humanity and empower individual growth. More than any credential, what you should know about me is that I get it. This is a crazy process that's become hyper competitive, and standing out feels like an impossible task. I've spent the last 16+ years helping ambitious applicants get into the world's most competitive MBA programs, including Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, MIT Sloan, Yale SOM, and Booth. Across 200+ MBA clients, 95% have been admitted to at least one of their top-choice programs, and over half have received scholarship money. I graduated from NYU Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Economics and English, and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2020, where I focused on Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
