Hello! A little bit about myself--I'm a healthcare strategist with a passion for anything writing, analysis, and research oriented. I've been helping students from a wide range of backgrounds--from data science to pre-med to MBA programs and more--for almost 10 years now (ad hoc) with their admissions essays and other writing assignments. I've helped several students get into their dream schools and I want to help you achieve your goals through the power of the pen. I studied at Yale School of Public Health and the Yale School of Management for my MPH degree, and Rutgers for my undergrad, where I majored in writing intensive and analytical driven majors (political science and planning and public policy). I currently use my writing and analysis skills in my job and my previous roles, and have been working for nearly 8 years now.

You may be considering a master’s to deepen your knowledge, change careers, advance professionally, or prepare for research. Choosing a path means considering not only the degree and the program, but also the kind of learning community and life you're choosing. Together, we can explore whether graduate study makes sense for your goals, compare your options, and prepare applications that communicate what you bring. My advising draws on more than 20 years in graduate education, admissions, funding, and student support, including leadership at MIT and experience at Harvard and the University of Maryland. We can work on research-oriented and professional degree options, program selection, application strategy, and feedback on your statements and résumé. We can also discuss recommendations, interview preparation, funding, affordability, and admission offers. You remain the decision-maker. My role is to help you understand the process, weigh the trade-offs, and make informed choices about the education, community, and opportunities you are considering.

I am qualified to coach Masters applicants through first-hand experience of competitive postgraduate admissions. I was admitted to the University of Oxford’s MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology and awarded a full scholarship worth more than £50,000. My own application required me to present a coherent academic narrative across biomedical science, research, public health, and quantitative methods, while clearly demonstrating programme fit and long-term goals. I also have extensive mentoring experience, having supported multiple students with successful applications to leading universities in the UK and US. I provide structured, detailed feedback on programme selection, CVs, personal statements, research experience, scholarship applications, and interview preparation. My coaching is particularly suited to applicants targeting selective MSc programmes in public health, epidemiology, biomedical sciences, life sciences, business, management (including MBA) and related fields.
