MBB Resume Playbook by Ex-Bain Consultant Alejandro Vazquez

The exact playbook I’d walk you through in a 1:1, from someone who screened resumes and interviewed candidates at Bain. You’ll learn how screeners actually read your resume in under a minute, the five things MBB firms look for, and how to turn ordinary bullets into results that stand out. It includes real before-and-after rewrites, tips for international candidates and career switchers, a final checklist, and a ready-to-use one-page resume template.

MBB Resume Template by Ex-Bain Consultant Alejandro Vazquez

The one-page resume format I’d want to see as a consulting screener. Every section is laid out the way MBB recruiters expect: education, experience, leadership and additional info, with dates and locations right-aligned. Each bullet comes with a prompt showing what to write, following the verb + scope + result formula. It also includes a quick how-to page with the exact fonts, sizes and margins, plus tips for international candidates. It works best alongside the MBB Resume Playbook.
