With a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an MBA from Wharton, I bring a unique blend of legal and business acumen to my coaching. My experience as a student interviewer for Georgetown University admissions and as a case interview interviewer at Wharton has equipped me with the skills to help aspiring law students navigate the competitive admissions process. I find my biggest value add to be dispelling the myths and rumors you may have encountered on forums like Reddit or in talking with other folks who have not been throught the process in recent years. In my experience, the Internet has a lot of half truths, so I am eager to clarify any thoughts or concerns you may have. I am also happy to provide candid advice on whether law school makes sense. I know far too many people who end up at law school through inertia and would have preferred another path. I firmly believe I was able to get a large scholarship and broad T14 acceptenace because of my ability to create a compelling narrative. I'm a recent Yale Law School graduate with extensive writing and editing experience. I've written briefs in federal appeals, served as an editor for the Yale Law Journal, and authored scholarship that is forthcoming in the Yale Law Journal and the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Before that, I studied political science at Williams College, where I graduated summa cum laude as one of the top four students in my class. I applied to law school straight through from college, and I was admitted to Yale, Stanford, and Harvard. I'm now completing a one-year fellowship in appellate defense before I begin two federal clerkships. Given my background, I'm particularly interested in helping those interested in public-interest law. I was admitted to Yale Law School, Harvard Law School, and Stanford Law School, among others. I also received full-tuition scholarship offers from the University of Chicago Law School and Columbia Law School. I have demonstrated experience with crafting law school application materials and with LSAT preparation (I scored in the 99th percentile, and I have helped others do the same). Currently, I'm studying politics at the University of Oxford, where I am a Barry Scholar. The Barry Scholarship is awarded to around a dozen students in the United States each year, and it fully funds the pursuit of any graduate program at Oxford. I was admitted to three programs at Oxford, each of which was competitive. I'm experienced with writing, editing, and interview preparation. I specialize in applications to law schools, master's programs, and prestigious scholarships.

As a current JD/MBA candidate at the University of Michigan, I bring firsthand experience navigating competitive admissions, dual-degree programs, and BigLaw recruiting. I’ve coached students toward law school, BigLaw, and career goals, and I particularly enjoy helping applicants identify the strongest thread across their experiences and turn it into a clear, compelling application. My own background spans a wide range of academic and professional environments, including Wellesley, Oxford, MIT, Michigan Law, and Ross. I studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford and international development at MIT, and have worked internationally in Botswana, Colombia, China, India, and South Korea. I’ve also served as an Albright Fellow and presented policy briefs to Secretary Madeleine Albright, spoken at the Oxford Union, worked as a Young Ambassador with the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center, and held summer associate roles at Latham & Watkins and Jones Day. Coming from an immigrant family has also shaped how I think about education, opportunity, and navigating unfamiliar institutions. Because I’ve moved across different schools, disciplines, countries, and career paths, I can offer especially useful guidance to applicants with unconventional backgrounds, international interests, dual-degree ambitions, or BigLaw goals.

I am passionate about helping prospective law students see their strengths and achieve their admissions goals. As a first-generation college graduate with 9 years of law school admissions experience and over 10,000 reviewed applications, I understand the challenges students face throughout the application process. In 2010, I received a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University, Northridge. In 2013, I received a law degree from New York Law School. After law school, I worked as a staff attorney for the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation, where I represented survivors of intimate partner violence before the New York City Family Court and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. In 2016, I joined LMU Loyola Law School as an Assistant Director of Admissions. In 2023, I joined the UCLA School of Law as the Associate Director of Admissions & Diversity Initiatives. Now, I am a flight attendant for a major US Airline and still review law school applications. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling internationally, dinner parties with friends, and salsa dancing.
