I was admitted to Harvard Law School through its Junior Deferral Program, so I recently went through every step of the application process myself and know what it takes to stand out. My name is Trey Rogers and I'm excited to work with you on your law school application process. I graduated from Harvard University in 2020 with no intention to apply to law school, so after I decided three years ago that law school was going to be the next step for me, I had a lot of learning to do about the process. Because I arrived at my law school aspirations a little later, I had the time to dedicate almost two years to mastering the LSAT and scored a 175 in June, 2024. I have coached several students to success on the LSAT; many achieved an improvement of 10+ points. I also help students write their personal statement, identify potential recommenders, and assemble a coherent application. I'm looking forward to working with you and getting you into law school!

I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned my degrees in French and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I went on to pursue my Juris Doctor (JD) at Duke University School of Law — an experience that deepened my love for the study of law. While I briefly worked in the legal field, I quickly realized that what truly inspired me wasn’t practicing law — it was helping others find their path through education. That realization led me to pivot into the field of international higher education, where I discovered my passion for mentoring students through the admissions process. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in university admissions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a former admissions officer, I’ve reviewed hundreds of applications from students around the world. My experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, where I gained firsthand insight into what top-tier programs look for in standout candidates. I spent over a decade living in Hong Kong, where I worked with both local and international students on applications to law school, MBA, Master’s, and undergraduate programs. Now based back in Raleigh, I continue to support students worldwide as they pursue their academic and professional goals. Graduate from Yale University, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with successful T-14 application experience as a KJD. Accepted into Yale Law and multiple T-14 full ride offers. Attending Yale Law class of 2030 after a deferral year as a Weil Legal Innovator with the Innocence Project in NYC. I majored in history with a focus on migration, incarceration, and social justice, and am skilled at essay writing from start to finish including putting together a cohesive narrative. At Yale, I plan to pursue immigration and criminal law, given my background as a daughter of Mexican immigrants and my experience in public defense. I obtained a 177 LSAT and have experience LSAT tutoring as well as essay editing. I am eager to support any applicant study for the LSAT and put together a killer application that shows who you are and why law in a compelling way!
