About

I'm pursuing the Joint MBA at Harvard Business School and MPP at Harvard Kennedy School. I know how personal and overwhelming the MBA process can feel. As your coach, I’ll meet you where you are, help you own your story, and work with you to craft an application that feels authentic and compelling. I’m especially passionate about supporting first-gen / mission-driven applicants, so please do let me know if there is a cost barrier.

Johnny has helped clients get into these schools:

As the first in my family to attend college who earned a full-ride scholarship to UC Berkeley, I deeply understand the stakes, challenges, and emotional weight of the college application process—especially for students navigating it without a roadmap. I've mentored students from underserved and immigrant communities, helping them find their voice, craft compelling narratives, and confidently choose schools that align with their goals and values. Whether you're applying to UCs, Ivy Leagues, or liberal arts colleges, I’ll support you not just in writing strong essays, but in believing that you belong. I know how transformative the right education can be—and I’m here to help you get there.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I believe everyone’s story matters. The most powerful thing you bring to any school or job isn’t a perfect resume—it’s your lived experience. I’m here to help you uncover that story, own it with confidence, and realize that you already have everything you need to succeed.
