This package is for candidates figuring out whether quant finance is the right direction, as well as those who already know it is and want a resume and a clear target list. In our first session, we'll go through your background, education, and experience, talk through what different quant finance roles actually involve day to day, and take a first look at your resume together. After the session, I'll send you a written summary of role types within quant finance and detailed suggestions to revise your resume. In our second session, we'll pick up from there. If you're still deciding, we'll talk through your reaction to the role summary and settle on a direction. Either way, we'll review your updated resume and build a specific list of target roles and companies suited to your background. I spent 20+ years in derivatives trading and model risk at UBS, Deutsche Bank, and J.P. Morgan, and I've interviewed hundreds of candidates and hired dozens across these firms. My guidance reflects what a hiring manager in quant finance is actually looking for, both in a candidate's direction and on the page. Two 60-minute live video sessions, one to two weeks apart to give you time to reflect and revise, plus a written role summary and resume feedback sent by email after session 1. I spent nine years as a Managing Director running an exotic rates and FX derivatives trading desk at UBS, then moved into model risk, heading a twenty-person global team of model validators at Deutsche Bank covering rates, FX, equities, and commodities. I later worked in valuations risk, doing independent price verification on complex derivatives portfolios. My coaching comes directly from having priced, traded, and validated the models behind real derivatives books, so I can speak to what actually happens on a desk and in a model validation team, not just how to talk about it. I coach candidates targeting quant trading, quant research, model validation, and structuring roles. I focus on the technical interview content itself, including derivatives pricing, risk sensitivities, and probability questions, as well as how to present a quantitative background clearly under pressure.
