About
I'm Ifeanyi, a second year MBA at Berkeley Haas (Class of 2027). I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and I'm the first in my family to go to college. I studied finance at Santa Clara University, spent three years in consulting at Deloitte and Accenture, and this summer interned in finance at Mattel in Los Angeles. At Haas I'm VP of DEIB for the MBA Association, a peer advisor, and co president of the Pickleball Club. I'm also a Toigo, Consortium, MLT, and Riordan fellow, so I've seen the application process from a lot of angles. Outside of school I founded MBA to Commas, a free mentorship platform that has supported 400+ first generation professionals through business school and early careers. I'm also a comedian with 600 million views online, which means I know how to tell a story people remember. That's most of what a great MBA application is.

Why do I coach?
Nobody in my family had been through business school, so I figured out the process mostly on my own, leaning on a few mentors who always picked up the phone. Programs like MLT and the Consortium showed me how much one good coach can change your trajectory, and I promised myself I'd pass that on. That's why I started MBA to Commas, and it's why I coach here. I want to give you the honest, specific advice I wish I'd had: how to find the story in your resume, how to write essays that actually sound like you, and how to walk into your interview relaxed. You shouldn't need insider connections to get into a great program.
