Work with Emilia
About
Hi, I’m Emilia! I’m an independent sustainability strategy consultant with an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke, and a biology degree from Dartmouth. For more than a decade, I’ve built and scaled global sustainability programs. At Accenture, I grew our United Nations Global Compact portfolio from a three-person pilot into a $10M program spanning 100+ countries, and I co-authored UNGC-Accenture CEO research reaching leaders in 130+ countries. I know what sustainability work looks like day to day and what employers look for when they hire, and I love helping people break into this exciting, fast-changing field. I’ve also spent years helping people take their next step. I’ve been a Dartmouth alumni interviewer for over 10 years, and I led Accenture’s targeted MBA recruiting for five years, bringing in 50+ interns and consultants, while acting as a mentor inside the firm as well. I'm excited to help you find your path, whether that's pivoting into sustainability, acing your MBA admissions, or cracking the consulting interview. I can help you shape your story, sharpen your essays and interview prep, practice your STAR stories and more. Wherever you’re headed, I’d love to help you get there. Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how much the right guidance can change a career, and how hard things get without it. Early on, I didn’t have anyone to help me make sense of my options. I came from a biology background with no clear map into business or corporate sustainability, so I figured it out through trial and error. It worked out, but it took longer and was harder than it needed to be. Since then, I’ve found that my favorite part of any job is the conversations I've had with people about their careers. That includes helping a mentee get ready for a promotion, interviewing a nervous candidate, or helping an MBA intern decide what comes next. Seeing six of my mentees promoted ahead of schedule, and watching the people I recruited grow at Accenture, has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I want to be the guide I wish I’d had. If you’re trying to break into a new field, get into your dream program, or walk into an interview feeling ready, I’d love to help you get there faster and with more confidence.
