About Soven
I started my career in consulting with experience in economic consulting at Cornerstone Research and strategy consulting at McKinsey. I then broke into VC through this non-traditional path and currently work as an Investor at Capital One Ventures, where I focus on venture-stage and growth-stage investing across Fintech & Commerce Enablement. I conduct the full due diligence process for investing decisions, partner with senior leadership on strategic integration, and work with founding teams. I specialize in: helping consultants break into VC; job seekers land MBB or strategy roles; and candidates refine their resume, interview skills, and test taking strategy for top-tier positions.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I've taken a non-linear path into MBB and VC -- and I know how competitive these roles can be. I've benefitted from coaching throughout my career and have found it to be uniquely useful in building a background, crafting a story, and landing top roles.
