I spent two years searching for the right family-owned SME, screening over 400 manufacturing companies across Italy. After negotiating 4 signed LOIs and experiencing one deal fall through at the 11th hour, I successfully acquired and now manage a company with the backing of a group of Italian and international investors.

Chief Service Officer

I held full P&L responsibility for the Service Business Unit, overseeing service roadmap definition, go-to-market strategy, and service delivery. I managed a global team of over 200 staff, leading front office operations, technical and field support, service marketing, and advanced configuration across Datalogic’s four global industries: retail, manufacturing, transportation & logistics and health care.

Service Director

Directed global Customer Service, Production Planning, and Inventory Management for the Industrial Automation Division. Successfully integrated operations and customer service functions post-M&A in EMEA and the US, improving cross-regional efficiency, streamlining processes, and enhancing service performance.

Director, Supply Chain

Led Supply Chain activities in EMEA with focus on procurement and stock planning (42,000 SKUs). Drove an ERP upgrade and implemented a new S&OP process that improved service levels while halving slow-moving stock and obsolete reserves. Built and developed a local supplier base with risk assessment and vendor evaluation programs.

Operations Director

Responsible for plant Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Distribution, and HSEQ, serving 5 BUs (B2B & B2C) with distinct go-to-market models. Redefined distribution processes (locations, route planning, replenishment) and managed an extended supply chain of 400+ suppliers, including toll manufacturers, intercompany flows, and Far East partners.
