About
I build and share extremely tactical, detailed playbooks to win. That's been a theme across my life experience: I studied Economics and Chinese at BYU (4.0, 36 ACT), got consulting offers from McKinsey and BCG, and spent my summer at BCG. As president of BYU's consulting club I put hundreds of hours into coaching classmates through case prep. Then I skipped the full-time offer to co-found Relay, an addiction recovery app. We went through Y Combinator, raised a $1.5M seed, and ran it for three years. Today I'm Head of GMs at Leland, where I run P&Ls and build many of our AI systems myself. Here's how I can help: -YC Applications: I'll cut to the core of your narrative and help shape your business model in a way that consistently gets clients into Y Combinator. -Build with AI: I build agents and automations every day, and I'll help you implement cutting-edge practices and tools into your workflows. -Consulting recruiting: end-to-end prep to land and crush interviews at top consulting firms. -GMAT and ACT: I scored a 760 GMAT and a 36 ACT. The score comes from strategy and timing more than extra content review. -College admissions: building a story that ties your application together, not a list of activities. -Startup founders: validating demand before you build, fundraising, growth/marketing hacks, and everything else it takes to go 0 to 1, 1 to 10, and beyond.
Why do I coach?
I love helping others to achieve their goals in the same way that others helped me. I've benefitted from many mentors in my life - dozens of consultants and friends helped me to land my consulting offers - and I find a deep sense of fulfillment in giving back through mentoring.
Work Experience

Co-founder & COO
Relay Health, Inc.
April 2022 - Present
I abruptly left the consulting world when an addiction recovery tech startup I co-founded in college started taking off and raised money from Y Combinator and other investors. Since then, as a side hustle along with the startup, I've continued to hone my skills as a mentor for aspiring consultants as well as prospective MBA candidates taking the GMAT!

Summer Associate
Boston Consulting Group
June 2021 - August 2021
I created pieces of the equity story to help a PE client sell a beauty subsidiary, including fielding and analyzing a survey for salon professionals, conducting expert interviews and store visits, and forecasting incremental revenue for new value levers.

Education

Brigham Young University
Bachelor of Science, Economics, Chinese
2018 - 2022
I received a dual major in Economics and Chinese from BYU with minors in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. While at BYU, I combined machine learning and econometrics to estimate the causal impact of major choice on likelihood of receiving an offer at a top consulting firm - happy to share the results if you're interested. Graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a 760 GMAT score...and then went full-time building a tech startup, so none of those numbers matter anymore!
