About Franco
My name is Franco Borgonovo, and I spent over 10 years at Boston Consulting Group, working across Europe, Asia, and North America. During my time at BCG, I served as a global lead recruiter, interviewing hundreds of candidates and touring major BCG offices worldwide to run interviews for all levels: undergraduates, MBAs, PhDs, and senior lateral hires. I remain connected to the firm as an official coach for the BCG "Consulting Foundation Training", a week-long global onboarding program for new hires, which keeps me fully aligned with BCG’s most up-to-date evaluation criteria. Outside of my official BCG interviewing responsibilities, I have personally coached hundreds of MBB candidates, with most of them securing offers from McKinsey, BCG, or Bain. My coaching approach is structured, fast, and highly practical, focused on what top firms actually test: problem-solving clarity, communication under pressure, and business judgment. Whether you’re just getting started or preparing for final rounds, I can help you sharpen your casing skills, strengthen your fit stories, and walk into the interview with confidence. Feel free to reach out if you want more information or proof of my professional background. I’m here to help you get your MBB offer.
Why do I coach?
I coach because preparing for top consulting interviews shouldn’t feel like guesswork; it can be turned into a clear, practical, and learnable process. What I enjoy most is helping people unlock those “aha” moments where something that once felt intimidating (like case math or structured storytelling) suddenly becomes systematic and solvable. Coaching is also about momentum: proving that improvement happens faster when feedback is direct, focused, and practiced in realistic scenarios. Whether it’s mastering the math in charts, structuring a response in a tight window, or sharpening how insights are communicated, the goal is always the same: help candidates walk into interviews more prepared than they expected and more confident than when they started. Top firms don’t evaluate where someone comes from, but how sharply they can think, communicate, and judge trade-offs in real time. Coaching helps make those skills second nature and that makes all the difference.
