About Christine

I'm a current Wharton MBA/Lauder student who knows firsthand how overwhelming—and opaque—the admissions process can feel. I graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a 3.9+ GPA before spending four years at Oliver Wyman, where I worked as a management consultant and mentored students and early-career professionals. When it came time to apply to business school, I navigated the process myself and was fortunate to receive offers from multiple top MBA programs, including Wharton/Lauder, Kellogg, and Booth, with scholarship support. But my path wasn’t built on having an admissions playbook from day one. As a first-gen student from Oklahoma, I learned a lot of this through trial and error, generous mentors, and eventually mentoring others myself. That experience is a big part of why I coach. I especially enjoy helping students figure out the story behind the résumé: what makes you interesting, where you’re trying to go, and how to communicate that authentically. Whether you’re building a college list, staring at a blank essay, evaluating MBA programs, or just wondering, “Am I competitive for this?”, my goal is to give you candid, practical guidance without making admissions feel more intimidating than it needs to be. I’m keeping my coaching intentionally accessible because great admissions advice shouldn’t require spending thousands of dollars on a consultant.

Why do I coach?

I coach because I know how transformative it can be to have someone in your corner who understands a process you’re navigating for the first time. As a first-generation college graduate and the daughter of immigrants, I didn’t grow up knowing how to navigate selective college admissions, consulting recruiting, or eventually MBA applications. At every stage, mentors opened doors for me—not by doing the work for me, but by helping me understand the unwritten rules, recognize strengths I sometimes overlooked, and believe that opportunities I hadn’t grown up imagining were actually within reach. That support ultimately helped take me from Oklahoma to WashU, Oliver Wyman, and now Wharton and Lauder. I’ve tried to pay it forward throughout my career, from mentoring younger students to coaching consultants, and some of my favorite moments have been watching someone realize that their background isn’t something they need to overcome—it can be one of the most compelling parts of their story. Admissions coaching can be extraordinarily expensive, which is also why I’m intentionally offering accessible, à-la-carte support. You shouldn’t need thousands of dollars or an insider network to have someone thoughtfully review your school list, workshop an essay, or tell you candidly where your application could be stronger. I coach because great mentorship changed the trajectory of my life, and I’d love to be that person in someone else’s corner.
