About Candace
I’ve spent my career helping people and businesses figure out what comes next. I’ve worked in sales, leadership, training, enablement, and strategic partnerships, including more than a decade at Google and now leading a large revenue organization at Target. But the part of my work I’ve always enjoyed most is helping people make sense of their own career decisions. I don’t believe there is one “right” career path. The right move depends on what you’re optimizing for in your life at that moment. Maybe it’s more money. Maybe it’s advancement, flexibility, geography, a new industry, better work-life balance, or simply getting out of a role that no longer fits. Your priorities change, and your career should be allowed to change with them. That’s the approach I bring to coaching. I help people get clear on what they actually want, identify the roles and opportunities that make sense for their goals, and then turn that clarity into a practical plan. That can mean figuring out a career pivot, tightening up a résumé, preparing for interviews, improving your job search strategy, or simply having someone who can challenge your thinking and help you see options you may have overlooked. I’ve made career pivots myself, managed through organizational change, hired and developed teams, coached people at different stages of their careers, and spent years sitting on the other side of the table evaluating talent. I know what it feels like to have a lot of experience but not be quite sure how to translate it into your next opportunity. My goal is simple: help you build a career that works for the life you actually want to live.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know firsthand that building a fulfilling career doesn’t happen in a vacuum. I’m a mom of three, an advertising sales executive, a leader, and a children’s book author. I’ve built a demanding career while raising a family, pursuing creative goals, navigating changes at work, and trying to make sure there’s still room for a life outside of my job. I know what it’s like to want to grow professionally while also asking, “But what does this mean for everything else that matters to me?” That experience has shaped how I think about careers. I don’t believe success is simply getting the biggest title or the next promotion. Sometimes the right career move is about making more money. Sometimes it’s about flexibility, learning something new, changing industries, having more time with your family, or creating space to pursue something you’ve always wanted to do. And sometimes the hardest part is giving yourself permission to want something different. I coach because I want to help people make those decisions with more clarity and less guesswork. I bring the perspective of someone who has been on both sides of the table: as a candidate figuring out what comes next, and as an executive who has hired, developed, coached, and evaluated talent for years. You don’t have to choose between being ambitious and having a life. You just have to get clear about what you’re optimizing for right now and build a career around it. That’s the kind of coaching I want to provide: practical, honest, thoughtful, and grounded in the reality that your career is one part of a much bigger life.
