In my years working with students, I’ve learned that academic struggles are rarely about a lack of ability—they are almost always about a drop in confidence. A single confusing chapter can make a student feel like they simply "aren't a math or science person." My mission is to change that narrative. Drawing from my own rigorous background in engineering at USC, I break down advanced topics into bite-sized, achievable victories. I love helping students realize that with the right framework and a bit of encouragement, no subject is beyond their reach.

With a Master of Science in Engineering from USC and over 15 years of international STEM coaching, I bring a practical, engineering-focused methodology to IB DP Physics and Mathematics. I leverage dynamic tools like PhET Interactive Simulations to create virtual lab environments where students test hypotheses, analyze physical phenomena, and see equations come to life. This active discovery phase builds a level of conceptual depth that static textbook diagrams simply cannot match. As a certified IB DP and American Board teacher, I make sure every virtual experiment translates into higher exam marks. We connect conceptual breakthroughs directly to IB command terms and exam rubrics, training students to structure free-response answers that give examiners exactly what they are looking for.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I want to show students that math and physics are alive, moving systems—not just abstract formulas to memorize for a test. When I was navigating my Master’s in Engineering at USC, I realized that the most complex concepts became incredibly simple once you connected them to real-world applications. Today, frameworks like the IB Diploma and AP physics are often taught with rigid memorization, which causes students to freeze up under pressure. I coach to bring my engineering background into the equation, helping students build a profound, visual intuition that makes high-stakes exams highly manageable.
