Hi! I’m Andrew, an incoming Associate at BCG in New York City. Coming from a non-target school, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to break into MBB. I recently went through the recruiting cycle, landing interviews at all three MBB firms and learning what it takes to get dialed in quickly. I also bring case competition experience, including placing 1st in an EY case competition and becoming a National Finalist in Accenture’s Innovation Challenge. About Andrew
Hi, I’m Andrew Presa, an incoming Associate at BCG in New York. Coming from a non-target school, I was constantly told to “always have a backup” or met with an “oh, that’s nice” when I shared my goals of breaking into MBB. I know what it feels like to be ambitious but not always have the support system or belief around you that you can actually get there. After going through the recruiting process myself, I landed interviews at all three MBB firms and ultimately accepted an offer with BCG. Now, I want to help other students approach recruiting with the confidence that their school or background does not have to define what opportunities are available to them. Outside of consulting, you can usually find me running, playing poker, traveling, or checking out a new café. Whether you’re just starting the recruiting process or looking to sharpen your casing and interview skills, I’d love to work with you and help you reach your goals.
Why do I coach?
Coming from a sports background and competing in Division I track and field, I’ve seen firsthand how much the right coach or mentor can accelerate your growth. I actually used Leland coaching myself during recruiting, and having someone in my corner made a huge difference. I want to give back to the same community that helped me. When I started casing, I had zero experience and barely understood how to approach a case. Over time, with the right mentorship and practice, I learned how to break down complex problems and walk into interviews with confidence. That’s what I want to provide to the people I coach. It’s not just about preparing more, but preparing effectively and having someone who genuinely wants to see you succeed.
