Description

Prepare to explain your experience, answer technical questions, and build relationships with investment bankers. Work directly with Andrew Glaze, CFA—a former Merrill Lynch investment banker, Columbia MBA, investor, and public-company director—to strengthen both your interview performance and your approach to networking. This package includes four private 60-minute sessions plus two hours of preparation, document review, and written feedback. SESSION 1 — YOUR STORY AND TARGETS Sharpen your resume, “walk me through your background” answer, and reasons for pursuing investment banking. Identify target firms and roles that fit your experience. SESSION 2 — TECHNICAL PREPARATION Practice financial-statement relationships, valuation, enterprise versus equity value, DCF analysis, and transaction questions. Identify gaps and practice explaining your reasoning clearly. SESSION 3 — DEAL DISCUSSION AND MOCK INTERVIEW Develop a credible discussion of a transaction, company, or relevant project. Complete a mock interview with direct feedback on accuracy, structure, and delivery. SESSION 4 — NETWORKING AND NEXT STEPS Build a focused outreach plan, improve messages and follow-ups, and practice informational conversations. Review remaining interview weaknesses and establish your next steps. PERSONAL NETWORK Where there is a relevant relationship and I can confidently recommend you, I may make a personal introduction or referral within my network. We’ll first work on your preparation, positioning, and the specific reason someone should meet you. You’ll receive practical feedback, reusable preparation materials, and a focused plan for continuing your search.

Improved answers to core investment banking technical and behavioral questions.

Expert Investment banker to train you

I bring a rare combination of real Wall Street experience, elite academic training, and practical coaching ability to investment banking prep. I am a CFA charterholder, Columbia Business School MBA, West Point graduate, former private equity and hedge fund investor, and current public-company board director. I have worked across capital markets, M&A, private equity, distressed/special situations, and corporate advisory, so I help students understand not just the technical answers, but how bankers, investors, and deal teams actually think. I previously tutored with Kaplan and The Princeton Review, and my coaching style is structured, direct, and practical: we diagnose gaps, build technical fluency, sharpen behavioral answers, and practice until you can communicate clearly under pressure. Whether you are preparing for investment banking interviews, private equity recruiting, stock pitches, technical finance questions, or career transitions into finance, I can help you sound more polished, more confident, and more commercially credible.
