Applying to business school can feel overwhelming, especially if you don’t have a perfect GMAT score, a built-in network, or a professional background to set you apart. I know, because I’ve been there. I grew up in a low-income community, worked my way into Deloitte, and earned admission to Harvard Business School without the kind of advantages many applicants rely on. I’ve also coached consultants and bankers who worried they’d blend into the crowd. What I’ve learned is that admissions committees aren’t just looking for high scores and polished resumes—they’re looking for people with a story. I help applicants surface the experiences, values, and strengths that make them memorable and compelling, even when they feel “average” on paper. From tackling essays and refining resumes to interview prep and recommender strategy, I’ll help you package your experiences into an authentic narrative that opens doors.

To get into business school, you need to show ambition, tell your authentic story and leave the admissions committee thinking that the next and only thing you must to do achieve your dreams is come to their business school. I can help you figure out what story you are trying to tell and bring that to life with each part of your application. I can also offer interview coaching, which can be an unfamiliar process for those interviewing at Harvard.

Successful in receiving admissions offers to multiple top-ranked MBA programs in Canada for both full-time and part-time programs with limited work experience. Got significant support from faculty and had offers to continue to a Ph.D, but decided the opportunity cost was too great. Have supported multiple people in their MBA admissions journey through mentorship.

I've coached three clients to MBA success. First, a Marine. I improved his reading comprehension and apprehension with geometry and probability. Second, I improved the client's self-concept. His narrative was perfect. I also mentored him through a mentor at Georgetown University. Now, he is in his first year there, in Business School, ready to command-and-conquer. My second client was a New Yorker who dreamed of going Columbia Business to level up as a manager. His middling GRE score reflected despair; I brought hope. Together through rigorous review and practice we helped him earn a 94th percentile. Using his new writing skills, he crafted a masterful narrative. Now he is at Columbia Business Alum and rockin' it in the corporate space (a la Industry). Next was the client from West Virginia. It was a family affair. I tutored the sister to improve her vocabulary and outlining techniques; I tutored the brother in crafting a convincing narrative. He is now in his second year at Harvard Business. I am also in a network of MBAs. Most of my cohort from Penn 11 either has an MBA or a JDBMA or both. Indeed my closest friend locally, in politics, is at USC Marshall, and I've helped him through his Econometrics and Statistics classes throughout - gratis (thank you for your service).
